Love how they just were saleing a tablet and soon as it was done the next thing is this play kitchen. she says we all want to get the kids off the couch or off the tv to play. heck you just sold a tablet before this make up your mind. make the kids zombies or make them get up and do something

We bought a few things at Bronners. A few ornaments and big tree skirt. Last Christmas we cut down a large tree because we have an area with a high ceiling. However, the tree skirts we had and could buy around here were really small and looked odd. Bronners had bigger and better tree skirts available. There were lots of things I would have liked to have bought, but I cannot spend all of our money on Christmas ornaments.:D
We also picked up a large wooden Merry Christmas sign from the estate sale. It is really neat, you put your own lights in it (200 lights).

We did not eat at Zehnder's this time. We only went to Bronners due to the limited time we had. Maybe in the late fall we will go back and do some shopping and eating in Frankenmuth.

Good Tuesday afternoon! A glorious and hot and humid Summer day today. We decided to head over to Ottawa for part of the day to walk by the Rideau canal. Had a picnic over there and then walked from Dow's lake and then back on the other side of the canal. For part of the walk, we could hear (but couldn't figure out where they were) a marching band practising, playing the Game of Thrones and Pirates of the Caribbean themes. Loki was a good boy, for the most part ignoring cyclists and joggers. He is pooped though, currently lying down on the couch next to me. We may head to Burlington and Lake Champlain tomorrow, we'll see. Planning on enjoying these Summer days as much as possible. Hope everyone will enjoy a great evening!

Thank you both! I decided to sneak out early this morning to get my food shopping over with. I got wrapped up in my chores afterward and the day just got away from me. I'm looking forward to a relaxing evening :)

Well, I went by Hallmark when I was at Crabtree mall this afternoon and sure enough, they had a shelf of Christmas ornaments out! Needless to say, I snapped a photo for the pending Blossoms thread.
(The earliest I have ever taken a Blossoms photo!)
