CG we have a long drive to get to a Hobby Lobby..about 1 hour one way. We only get there a few times a year and I always stock up on building supplies for my models.
Thanks Holiday, it is very much better. The only thing you can do for it is rest and wait for the healing to take place.

Good Monday evening! First day back at work in the books. I must say that the office was in total disarray, papers and merchandise and signage everywhere. After some tidying up, I went through emails from the past two weeks, deleting and printing and sorting. And after taking care of a few more odds and ends, I finally was able to tackle next week's schedule, but I kept getting disrupted so I'm not as far along as I would've hoped. And there's more hiring and training to be done. The fun never stops lol Hope everyone had a great Monday and here's to a great week ahead.

I probably won't have time to post in the morning so I thought I would tonight instead. There are a mere few hours left in July as many of you have already noted. Tomorrow is a major milestone day for me personally. When I first got here in January I said my big goal each year was to reach August 1. Well tomorrow is of course August 1! A perfect spot in the calendar for so many reasons. We have the Fall and the start of the "ber" months to look forward to. There is preseason football leading to another season for those of us who love it. There is the Fall foliage and the cool weather that comes with it. Last but not least 4 really great holidays each with it's own month, #1 Labor Day in September, #2 Halloween in October, #3 Thanksgiving in November and yes Christmas in December. The best part about August is it is all right in front of us! Have a great last few hours of July and a great start to August tomorrow!
Good Morning HMC. Sounds about like the weather here for this last July date. Not sure about dinner here yet. It is a toss up between pork fried rice or something tossed on the BBQ. Either way it should be a nice ending to the month. Enjoy BB&B and don't spend too much...

Good Tuesday morning Jason. Yep, it is 1 Aug. Well pointed out for the months to come. That is one of the reasons I enjoy August is that there are no holidays (at least not yet). It seems to me to be a month for getting things done around the home and in the yard, so that you are ready for the last third of the year and all the special days that fall in those. Of course for me that also means Veterans Day. Some of us also visit the 2017 NFL Season Thread for comments and to make of well informed (okay best guess) picks for the upcoming season. Enjoy your week...

Good Morning MMC crowd and let me be the first to wish you all a Happy month of August. The 1st is here and for us in Sioux Falls, the hottest day for the first week of so and that only to be 83. Going to try and get a bit more yard work done this AM, It should help to wear me out for my afternoon rest as the new work week for me begins tonight. Also rain is predicted for tomorrow, so if I can get the ground squared away, the rain should help quite a bit. Not much else on the plate for today. Bible study is at 6AM, so I'll be heading out there shortly and while I am out, maybe a stop at Menards on the way home.
Everyone have a great 1st day of August and a phenomenal remainder of the week. Oh and if anyone hears from Festive Spirit, ask her what Yorkshire Day is. Apparently it falls on 1 Aug as well.
