Morning Edge. 51 here right now and I love it. We are expecting some cooler temps for the next few days and rain Saturday night through Sunday morning. Which is also fine by me. It should make the ground a lot more pliable for turning and replanting on Monday when I am off. Enjoy the fireworks and your time with your Uncle. Have a fun Friday...Happy Friday MMC! Looking forward to the 1st weekend of August as I'm sure all of you are. It's a warm and humid morning out there. We expect some rain tonight into Saturday morning and then clearing for mostly a beautiful weekend. Going to try to catch some fireworks at the park tonight. Should be a decent night for it before the rain kicks in. Saturday will be an errands day and Sunday will be going to my Uncle's. Have a great TGIF!
Thanks Crown, 1 day to go!!Good Morning, Almost-to-the-Window Friends.
Ah, yes indeed!
Stay tuned for the exciting details.
First, the latest numbers:
Days to the Season: 101
Days to Christmas Day: 143
What does that "101" mean, exactly?
Well for one thing, it means that we are just one day short of 100.
And 100 means the 100-Day Season Window.
That in turn, means that the following day starts a DOUBLE DIGIT count sequence to Christmas Season 2017!
And what does ALL of this mean?
It means excitement, Folks. Plenty of excitement to go around!
It was quite warm yesterday, but not what I would call hot for early August. The humidity was up a bit, too.
Today?
Well, perhaps a bit cooler.
How have we started it?
A bit cloudy, with a temperature reading of 73 degrees.
Have a Fabulous Friday, Everyone.
And a flat-out Wondrous Weekend Eve, too!
Send some my way!! It was already warm when I got up..only suppose to hit 89° today. Boys were both up by 6am so it will make for a long day.Morning Edge. 51 here right now and I love it. Happy Friday to you Martine. Nice feeling to get caught up isn't it? The one down side of vacations is the amount of work that always seems to pile up. Hopefully this weekend will bring you time to relax and fully get back into the daily routines of life.Good Friday morning! Last work day for me. I'm almost caught up on my work after coming back from vacation. But it's been long days and I'm looking forward to a weekend off. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day.
Morning Gunny. I can sympathize to be sure. That is the good and bad about being up North. We get a little bit cooler in the Summer and you stay a little bit warmer in the Winter. Not a fantastic trade-off true, but I suppose it equals out in the long run.Send some my way!! It was already warm when I got up..only suppose to hit 89° today. Greeting HMG. I pray your appointment will provide some relief for you. Never had a migraine, but even my random headaches are tough to deal with, so I can imagine those that are more often. Now for the question of the day... what is Escarole?Good morning ~
Happy Friday!
Not too much going on here, I'm just working on the laundry right now. I have a chiropractor appointment later this morning. I decided to give it try, I'm hoping it will help my headaches & migraines. I have a couple of errands to run afterward. I'm going to make a pot of escarole, bean & pasta soup for me and my hubby. I'll pick up a pizza for the girls. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
Greetings Brad. Friday does not mean as much to me as Saturday, since my days off are Sunday & Monday, but none-the-less. Enjoy your weekend and the Anniversary dinner you have planned for your family. Have a good Friday...TGIF, Christmas friends!
It's a soggy, humid, overcast day...but it's a FRIDAY!
I don't have much planned this weekend. Nancy's parents' anniversary is Saturday, and we're taking them out to eat. Other than that, it should be quiet.
I hope y'all have a great day!![]()

Good Morning Merry. Nice phrase indeed. But for me, I usually rely on an oldies from the Vogues titled "Five O'clock World".Nothing new here ... just excited for the weekend to begin!
In the summertime I usually mention the Hawaiian phrase "pau hana." It means:

So on this Friday, I hope your pau hana comes wiki-wiki (really fast)!
