Good Tuesday morning! Still Summer here, it's only 7 am but with the humidex it's already 30°C/86°F and they say it will go up to 39°C/102°F this afternoon. By Thursday this heat wave should break. I do enjoy the sun quite a lot though, 2 glorious weeks of sunshine, but this humidity is tough. I have the day off and have to run some errands. I'm currently doing some laundry to hang outside. At work yesterday during our morning huddle, I proudly announced an important news to the employees: that we were 3 months away from Christmas. Made them laugh and smile with my love of Christmas. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day!
Good morning Martine! Love that you announced that important news to the employees. Hee hee! :D
Enjoy your day off!!! Stay cool!

Merry Tuesday and another warm day! Back to work for me today and catching up on emails. My youngest daughter as softball practice tonight but otherwise should be a quiet day. I still can't believe how dark it is getting so early...we are certainly kicking into fall and the temps will feel like it at the end of the week.
Good morning SFM! I'm glad you & your hubby had a nice lunch! Did you try the Lobster Bomb? I asked Edge & I'll ask you too - what time does it get dark there now?
Have a great day!

Woke up to rainfall and the cool wisp was in the air. Starting today is suppose to see a drop in the weather as fall is among us here.
Enjoy the cooler temps & have a great day!!

Foggy and humid here ... hoping the sun will break through later.
We are supposed to have a cool front come through tomorrow so I'm expecting some fog here too!!
Have a great day Merry!

Good Morning, my Friends!

Our latest Milestone is passed.
But.....something else is coming this week. Something so very seasonal and anticipated.
Keep tuned right here to see it happen!

But on with the count:
Days to the Season: 48
Days to Christmas Day: 90

Now for our next Milestone marker.
(And this one will surely knock your Christmas socks off)
On October 7, just ELEVEN days from this date, we will reach the NINETY PERCENT mark to Christmas Season 2017 and enter the always-exciting HOME STRETCH to the Season.
This final run-up to the Season is always looked forward to, and it culminates on the evening of November 12 when we count down the final hours here in real time.
(It's truly don't miss, as our regulars know well.)

Three more days of warm weather are predicted, then fall-like temps and humidity are predicted to arrive for Friday on through the weekend. I can't wait!
We currently perceive 72 degrees here on our back door thermometer.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everybody!

Something else is coming this week? I wonder what that could be? Something about the Most Wonderful Thread of the Year? Oh, I'm so excited.

Good morning, everyone.

I have time to post! I think everything is finally starting to wind down. Kim and I just have to tie up a few loose ends and everything should be back to normal.

Yep. Our wedding is over. Saturday was a very surreal day. Everyone was smiling, the food was excellent, the music was fantastic, the ceremony was very short and to the point. I don't think we could have asked for anything more. On top of this, the weather was 39C (102F) with humidex! Thankfully, we were able to hide in the shade for most of the day.

Our photographer was fantastic and even caught one of my favourite moments of the day so perfectly. Kim and I walked back down the aisle together to Todd Rundgren's "Bang The Drum All Day." A different choice of song, I know, but it's something that only Packers fans would get... Kim is also a Packers fan (so is her brother and mom), as with my entire family. A few years ago, I asked if we could walk down the aisle to the Packers touchdown song (Bang The Drum...). She said agreed it would be pretty cool. Anyway, most people were slightly confused or unaware of their song choice... In the photo (below), my friend Luke couldn't believe our song choice. He thought it was perfect and had a massive smile on his face as we passed him. Carley (our photographer) captured the moment perfectly. It should be noted that Luke is a Steelers fan, but a huge football fan and familiar with mostly everything Packers.

Thanks, Martine. I was a little surprised at her dress. I had no idea what to expect before she tapped me on the shoulder for our first look. She looked incredible!

Right now sunset is at 7:28 but it's not really dark until 8:00 - but it's getting earlier every night.

I bet a craft fair would have been hot over the weekend ~ who would have thought?! Did you pick up some fall, Christmas, or Misc. items? Sounds fun!! Thanks for the hugs, sending them back to you & all your crazy fur kids! :D (Lucy's getting so big already!)

Awww, they grow up too fast don't they? You'll have to share a picture when you get the chance!

I picked up a few things at the fair ~
