Everyone have a wonderful evening!!!!!

Good morning, everyone.

I have time to post! I think everything is finally starting to wind down. Kim and I just have to tie up a few loose ends and everything should be back to normal.

Yep. Our wedding is over. Saturday was a very surreal day. Everyone was smiling, the food was excellent, the music was fantastic, the ceremony was very short and to the point. I don't think we could have asked for anything more. On top of this, the weather was 39C (102F) with humidex! Thankfully, we were able to hide in the shade for most of the day.

Our photographer was fantastic and even caught one of my favourite moments of the day so perfectly. Kim and I walked back down the aisle together to Todd Rundgren's "Bang The Drum All Day." A different choice of song, I know, but it's something that only Packers fans would get... Kim is also a Packers fan (so is her brother and mom), as with my entire family. A few years ago, I asked if we could walk down the aisle to the Packers touchdown song (Bang The Drum...). She said agreed it would be pretty cool. Anyway, most people were slightly confused or unaware of their song choice... In the photo (below), my friend Luke couldn't believe our song choice. He thought it was perfect and had a massive smile on his face as we passed him. Carley (our photographer) captured the moment perfectly. It should be noted that Luke is a Steelers fan, but a huge football fan and familiar with mostly everything Packers.

What a day. Now, I'm excited to focus on everything Christmas. I really need to get back on my game!
That's so awesome, Brent! Congratulations!!

Good Tuesday afternoon, Christmas friends!

I've spent the morning taking customer on the tour, then out to lunch. From there, I had to go home to give Lulu a little-girl's break. Now I'm scrambling to do all the things I usually do in a day.

I'm still fretting over the limb hanging over the house. I think I'll call my brother for an opinion.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good morning ~
Merry Tuesday!
It's going to be partly sunny today with highs near 78 degrees. I'm going to head out early to do some food shopping. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. My husband and I are going to a Paul McCartney concert this evening, should be fun :)
I hope everyone is well and has a great day <3
I envy you. I'm a huge Beatles and McCartney fan. The Beatles channel on SiriusXM is great.

Congratulations. Hope y'all enjoy a wonderful life together.

Good afternoon folks. With the days getting shorter, I've been walking our dog at night. We walk down the mountain and along the street below. Twice in past we've walked up on a copperhead. They are lying on the asphalt to warm up. The dog may have to get by with shorter walks until it cools enough for the snakes to be gone.

Have a blessed evening.

I see that everyone has been keeping up with the progress of the year as we march toward our favorite holiday.

Its that time of the year for Hallmark to release the remaining ornaments for this year's Keepsake series & Limited Edition series. I do believe that Santa will be at Amy's Hallmark in Sachse, TX on 10/07 & 10/08 to greet enthusiasts and spread a little love, hope, and joy.

Oh...and we have a baker's dozen of Saturdays left before Christmas. I suggest one and all to get their lists updated and get on that shopping.

LOVE the lanterns!!!! Are the candles on a timer?

No timer. I wish they were. For the price though, I can't complain.

I peeled the Christmas bows off of them today so they can be used all year.

Stuck some of the fake fall leaves around the inside to match the garland I have on the fireplace right now.

I can relate as we just moved also and doing some refurbishments. It's a stressful time so everyone has to be on board. I hope her BF changes his attitude soon.

He hasn't changed since Jr High 25 years ago so I'm not going to hold my breath. Lol!!

I really don't know what my sister sees in him. Even if we hadn't known him that long, the fact that he's been divorced three times already should tell her all she needs to know.

HA!!! :p Hope he's up for the challenge!!!

Yeah, he likes to say that he's a general contractor. Yet he drives a semi for fed ex.

When we were moving them in, he couldn't even figure out why it was so hot upstairs. I told him to look around the bedroom and see what's missing. He still couldn't figure it out. I finally just had to tell him, there's no vents up stairs. The old lady that lived there before, only installed the central air to the first floor.

So I'm not holding out high hopes.

What time does it get dark there now? When we are at my brothers in Massachusetts it always gets dark so early compared to what we're use too.
Have a great day!
7pm it's dark...7:15 it's pitch black. I think that I can get another month out of it and then we'll have to start walking around the park area and by some houses instead. Just in time to watch the Christmas lights start up.

I have tried a apple and a peach beer before. The apple was really dry and the peach was a gorgeous drink. They were both imported and I remember very expensive for a 12 pack.
if you can your hands on black cherry or cherry , it tastes of Christmas. Strawberry is nice too.
Yes they are a bit pricey here too!

Last week I tried a Lambic style Belgian fruit beer fermented with Belgian candi sugar by Lindemans brewery. It was truly good. Do you get the Lindemans brans over there? they do great fruit beers.

Good morning Festive! It was a very nice time at my brothers, thanks! Emma (the Amish girl who was moms caregiver) is getting married next month! So happy for her, but we miss her!!!
I hope you are having a great day!!!
Oh ! That is great she is getting married and that you guys are staying in touch. I know how special she is to you guys. I did not realise she wasn't looking after your mum anymore.
How is your mum???
