Greetings to one and all. Another shift ends, another morning with lots to do before getting some sleep and seemingly, not enough time. Oh well, things will work out in the end. I trust everyone is having a super day.
DoYouHear... I remember a time when the gym was the place I would head first whenever I had a stressful day (especially in the military). Hang in there, we are all here for you.
Snowflake22... Been awhile. It's great to hear from you once again.
Edge... quit drinking weird stuff before you go to bed!
SnowflakeMom... have fun at the game and enjoy your dinner. We will be doing taco salads here.
Festive... yes, they grow up way too quickly. I remember how old I felt (at 46), when I realized my son was now the same age I was when he was born.
Holiday... you bring a warm smile and lift spirits here whenever you show up.
HMG... have a fun day and hopefully without a trip to the grocery store...
Martine... give Loki a hug for all of us.
Ms. Rose... send a smile my way.
For everyone else in the MMC community... have a phenomenal day and rest of the week!

Have a wonderful day, CG!! Hope you can get some rest!

By the way Merry, 1/2 of "Jackie" started blooming again!
Wow, already?!
"Laura" grew all sorts of new segments this summer---she's getting to be a big girl!---but isn't showing signs of buds yet. Usually sometime in November. Laura has three "kids," too---I started them in later winter. I'll give them away or put them up for adoption around Thanksgiving.

Enjoy your crocheting! It's always flattering when one request leads to another, but it's a lot of work, too, especially on a deadline!
Exactly!! Seeing as my 1st shrug is only 10" square, I've got a ways to go!! :p

Yay!! Mrs. Brown!
I got home late last night already tired and grumpy, then had to deal with a printer problem at home that I couldn't fix ... I was tense and irritated AND tired after I wrestled with that. So we popped in an episode of Mrs. Brown before bed, and it made me feel better!
Glad to hear Mrs. Brown made you feel better! We all need a "go too" to make us smile sometimes! Hope you were able to sleep good!

That's great Laura is doing well!! :) And her babies too! :):) Great idea! Jackie STILL has babies sitting in a glass of water inside her planter - I really should plant them, but they are doing so well in the water! She seems to bloom about every 4-5 months. Crazy girl! :p

Good morning, everyone!

A busy week is nearing its mid-point. I could really use a visit to the 'Pines this evening. Carl has told me that we might have some festive Canadian Thanksgiving goodies this evening at our favourite mid-week hangout. Perhaps a small slice of turkey and a few servings of Pumpkin and Apple pie? Just typing about it makes my mouth water to taste the deliciousness of our final "day off" Holiday before the Christmas Season begins.

That 90% to the Christmas Season is coming so close. And, in just over a week we will be officially one month away from the beginning of the Season. I can't wait for all the discussions to commence about how we're counting down in "real time."

I had the morning off yesterday and managed to sneak into a few stores to search for Christmas. Lowe's, as always, did not disappoint. Thus far, it's in the lead for best display! All it's missing is Christmas music! I've uploaded everything to the Blossoms thread. I can't wait to do some more searching soon. I know that The Bay usually has its displays out at the beginning of October/very end of September. I hope to have time shortly.

So many sights!

Oh, in other news, I should be able to share a few different Christmas photos this year. A few friends and I are going to Pittsburgh to watch the Packers play the Steelers on (American) Thanksgiving weekend. I'm expecting to see a bit of Christmas in the Steel City!

A week later, Kim, myself, her best friend Britt, and her husband Dan will be traveling to New York City on the first weekend of December to finally experience the sights and sounds of the New York City. Our flights have been booked. We just need to book our hotel rooms. It's going to be a magical experience!

Well, I should get back to "teaching." Have a great Wednesday, everyone! See you this evening for some treats at the 'Pines!

Thank you, CGY~
Hope all is well with you and yours.
Wishing you peaceful rest today!

Good afternoon ... another nice fall day today however the temps are suppose to warm up for a few days and cool back off. Taking my daughter dress shopping tonight for the high schools homecoming dance which is in a few weeks. She is going with a friend. While I am out I am gong to try to find a couple Halloween themed movies to add to our collection.

We got most of the outside decorated, just have a couple more strands of lights that I want to put up on the porch. Still working on decorating the inside and I will have that done by this weekend. Oh I cant wait for the weekend .. I wanna bake and just relax on the couch and watch movies :)

Hope everyone has a great day

We are planning on taking a day trip to NYC the first Saturday in Dec. We have never been there before either. Can't wait!

A Steelers game, over Thanksgiving weekend, should be a blast! Enjoy!!!

Love Love Love Mrs. Brown's Boys!!!
I think there are a few fans on here!
We got the entire series on DVD, plus the live shows and more recent Christmas episodes on PAL. (We have a DVD player than can handle PAL.) When I come home after a really bad day, Mr. knows that is what I need to watch!

That's amazing, Minta! We'll be there on the same day. We could be in Times Square and Rockefeller Center at the same time!
