wonderful cool fall day here, lots of sunshine to bring out the great fall colors !
Doing my fall cleaning and rearranging of the living room for the up coming Christmas tree placement. This is a very exciting event here !!

Good morning MMC ~
Merry Friday!
It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with highs near 72 degrees. I'm just having my coffee and working on a grocery list right now. I think I'll go for an early morning walk after I finish cooking breakfast for everyone. Not too much planned for today, I just need to run to the pet store to pick up a few things. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house. We're going to grill steaks for dinner and I'll make roasted potatoes & a tossed salad as well. Big Yankee game tonight too!

Morning MMC! TGIF to one and all! Love Fridays but this time of year is even more fun knowing we're so close to the big 3 holidays. Looks like it's going to be another beautiful weekend ahead before we get some rain and cooler temps next week. Friday night should be relaxing, Saturday errands, Sunday my Uncle's for dinner. Should be a good combination and also getting some more ideas for Christmas gifts. It's coming so fast. Have a great Friday!

Well, we don't stalk asparagus here but we do stalk Christmas and its encompassing Season.

And on any hunt, it's good to have a guide.
Ours is our countdown.
Let's consult it this morning to see what it has to tell us:
Days to Halloween: 11 (SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow!)
Days to the Season: 24 (Under 3 1/2 weeks left to go!)
Days to Christmas Day: 66 (One month and five days remain!)

(Stalk and ye shall find!)


Real nice weather indeed for mid October with calm, sunny days, cool nights, no rain and very low humidity.
I could get REAL used to this.......but I dare not!
This morning has commenced here in central North Carolina with a temperature reading of 48 degrees.

Good Friday morning! A glorious blue sky and bright sunlight to start the day and though it's a bit cool right now, temperatures will be going up into the 20s/70s for the next few days. Currently doing laundry and watching the first major figure skating competition of the season. Have a fantastic day everyone!

Happy Friday!!
Just a regular day for me today and so happy it is Friday. Not too much planned for the weekend. My daughter has her last softball game on Sunday...yay!! It will be nice to have a break for awhile! Hope you all have a great day and weekend!

Wow! She's ahead of the holidays!

I think I see some buds just starting to grow on Laura. She usually has some blooms before Thanksgiving. Not last year, though, because I had to trim her back pretty severely during the summer. Hoping for lots of blooms this year! Her three "babies" are doing well, too.

I think I see some buds just starting to grow on Laura. She usually has some blooms before Thanksgiving. Not last year, though, because I had to trim her back pretty severely during the summer. Hoping for lots of blooms this year! Her three "babies" are doing well, too.

I hope you get lots of blooms this year. xx Jackie blooms about every 4-5 months. But it seems only 1/2 blooms at a time. Maybe by Christmas the other half will be blooming!! xx

TGIF!!!! Enjoyed watching The Great Pumpkin last night. My son loves to mimic Linus ... its too cute. Busy night tonight and tomorrow. Highschool homecoming football game is tonight along with my sons first dance at the middle school. The Homecoming dance is tomorrow night which my daughter is going with a friend. At least the weather will be nice even if it's a bit on the warmer side. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's a beautiful day in Ottawa. We have clear skies and temperatures into the low 20s/high 60s. The weather is predicted to continue into the weekend, which is most excellent.

Speaking of weekend, Kim and I should be a bit busy. Aside from our usual matters, we plan to search for signs of Christmas. We're also still looking for a new Christmas Tree... Hopefully a sale comes along shortly!

My lunch break is nearly over. I'm not at Russell today. I'm at Mother Teresa for the first time this year. The students have been decent thus far. I still have another hour and a half of teaching remaining. I hope it goes by quickly!
