I read a story last night how Josh Groban's Wheaten Terrier saved him from the attacks in NYC last night. He was 1/2 block from the truck attack, heading that direction to get a coffee. His dog pulled him the other direction to a park & then he heard all the commotion. So sad for NY! Prayers for all involved in that horrible scene!

Greetings to the MMC world and welcome to the month of November. Yesterday went fairly well. Kids were out and about until nearly 9PM. I took down most of the outside last night and the rest will finish up right after this post.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Halloween! Wow, I can not believe it’s November. I’m really looking forward to Thanksgiving but I hope this month doesn’t go by too fast. I don’t have too much going on here today. I’ll probably start to take down my Halloween decor because I have a lot of Thanksgiving things that I need to put out for this month. I’m also going to talk to my husband about pulling one of the Christmas trees out this weekend. I like putting my Hallmark tree up early because it’s a lot of work. The longer I can enjoy it being up, the better.

I have had Christmas on in the Durango for over a month now! Oops!
Oops, indeed! I want to do the same in my Corolla, especially since I drive 30 minutes to and from work every day. I've been holding off, however. The 13th isn't too far away... I think I can do it! ...well, I hope.
The calendar has brought me some wonderful feelings today. So happy to see we're halfway through the 'BERS and nearing single digits on our way to the Christmas Season...! Thanks, Crown!

I'm in the library for most of the day today. It should be a decent time! Students are having their Literacy Test practice this morning, which means that it will be busy in about 20 minutes but that's how it goes.
Once again, I hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween last night, and, most of all, a fantastic final day of October. I hope you all had plenty of joy when flipping your calendars to November this morning (or last night)... or saw that the date on your computer screen said November.
We're inching closer. We may be 12 days until the Season, and we're only 11 days until the day in which we can countdown in real time the striking of 12am/midnight on November 13th... although I just realized that I hockey that night at 10:45pm and will mostly make it back just in time to countdown the final moments. It's going to be close!
Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful first day of November. We're so close to our favourite time of the year! And, with our spirit, it will indeed be the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
