That's what I told my wife about watching Rudolph last night! I have all those on the DVR, but it's more real during broadcast.
I hope Nancy agreed!! :D

Just wanted to say I hope everyone here had a great Thanksgiving! I was away for about four days and then with all the work catch up to do this week I haven't been on much. It's amazing where we are now with the Christmas season in full swing. Kinda hard to believe it after I first started here at the forum in January of this year!

Welcome back. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving too!!

Well I had my nieces again tonight, so I let them put up and decorate my third tree. So while they may not be the prettiest ones I’ve ever had, the girls had fun decorating all of them this year.

Morning MMC! Happy Last Day of November! Seems like this year every time we turned around another month came and went. I'm seeing more and more Christmas lights out every day. I think because Thanksgiving is earlier this year and next year that some people are waiting till the weekend after Thanksgiving to put up their lights. I imagine I'll see double the lights this weekend. Well everyone enjoy their last day of November!

Good morning MMC ~
Merry Thursday!
It’s going to be cloudy today with highs near 50 degrees. Not too much going on, I’ll just be working on my daily chores this morning. I may take a ride to Kohls to do some shopping at some point, friends & family coupon starts today :) Dinner will be fried chicken, baked macaroni & cheese and a tossed salad. That’s about it for me. Hope everyone is well. Have a wonderful day!!!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 18 **

Good Morning, "Seasoned" Travelers.
And there is no better seasoning spice than all the little things that make the Christmas holidays what they are.

Our little bit of spice here is the count.
Let's check on the ever-dwindling number:
Days to Christmas Day: 25 (Barely over 3 1/2 weeks remain!)

Did you see "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" last night? As always, there were performers I liked and those I disliked so much I muted them.
I always enjoy the Rockettes, but as for individual performers, I would go with Seal who gave a very nice performace of "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" in a form very true to Andy Williams' rendition.

Quite nice here yesterday with our official high just touching 70.
It will be a tad cooler today but still very pleasant.
Our current temperature is 39 degrees and it is calm and clear.

Well, as November draws to a close this evening, we will stand on the threshhold of the most incredible month of the year.
Let's all welcome December with open arms and hearts!

In the meantime, you all have a Thoroughly Thrilling Thursday, Folks!

Sadly, no. She made me watch the finale of Stranger Things 2.
Haha!! I think I am going to start watching that series...do you like it? My daughter watched it and liked it.

All your trees look great! I am sure your nieces loved to help!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve! What a dreary morning! It's been spitting rain. Supposed to have a chance of rain most of the day. What a change after so many days of bright sunshine. Tis the season! I finished the last batches (hopefully) of peanut brittle last night, so it can be cloudy now. ;)

Just a normal work day for me today, but then the craziness ensues! Tonight I have to get the house set up for candy day on Sunday - and finish some cleaning. I would also like to work more on Christmas decs! I need to make icing & get the cinnamon/sugar mixture ready for the cinnamon rolls I need to make over the weekend. Tomorrow morning my friend picks me up & we head out for our THIRTIETH Christmas shopping spree!! Can't believe we have been doing this for 30 years! I'm not that old! :p We started when we were 5! :D We'll get home late & I need to be at moms by 6:30 am Saturday. I'll be there all day & night - need to make cinnamon rolls for my nieces baby shower & put up the rest of moms Christmas & work on crocheting the last shrug for my nieces wedding. Sunday morning I'll be relieved from mom duty at 9:30 so I can be to the shower by 10 - and right after the shower is candy day with my sisters/nieces at our house. We'll bring mom over too! Then I go back to moms until the lady who is staying with her Sunday night arrives. Whew! The weekend is going to be a blur!!!

Everyone, have a great day!!!
