Happy Saturday!
We’re expecting about 3-5 inches of snow today, not alot but enough to make the roads messy. So glad I got my food shopping over with yesterday. I’m just going to work on the laundry today and do some online shopping. I’m going to make a pot of chili for dinner. My husband and I will be attending a Christmas party later this evening. That’s about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Morning MMC! We are also expecting 3-5 inches of snow here. We'll see if it happens. Right now it's got that snowy feeling in the air though. Everyone ready for this Christmas type weekend? I love these December Weekends so much. We started baking now and today going to the mall. Tonight a friend is coming for dinner. Pizza dare I say? Hope you all have a great Saturday!
What are you baking Edge? I need/want to start baking but I think I need to take it easy this weekend to get over this cold. I agree that December weekends are the best, followed closely by Summer weekends. Enjoy these two days off!
Good Saturday morning! Thanks to Nyquill I slept ok. I'm going to try to relax as much as possible this weekend, I need to get rid of this cold. I've kept my streak of wacthing Christmas movies/tv shows each day alive by watching Christmas baking specials the last two days. But today I'm in the mood for a movie. Hope everyone will have a wonderful day!

Good morning, Christmas friends. Hope all is well. Busy week here, again. The season is going so fast and I feel like I haven't even been able to sit down and enjoy it! Here's hoping to that trend stopping today.
Last night, we went to a huge light display in a town not too far from here. The girls just loved it, but they kept asking where Mickey Mouse was! Kinda cute....today, we are going to try to find something else to do...but if we stay home and watch Christmas movies, I will be fine with that, too. Y'all have a good day!

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 27 **
Good Morning, Everyone!
Is it possible we are closing in on being within the Christmas Season for a full month??
It just doesn't seem like it could be so.
It also doesn't seem possible that we are this close to Christmas Day:
Days to Christmas Day: 16 (TWO WEEKS from the day after tomorrow!)
(Getting so near to the 2 week mark. Wow!)
Rain fell all day yesterday and it was cold, with our highs lingering in the mid to upper 30's. Miserable all round.
Today? Well, it's starting off cold again, but the rain has stopped for now. We are just SE of the ice/snow line, so driving in the Raleigh area should be OK. And after today, we dry up but remain cold.
Currently, we stand at 34 overcast degrees here in the capital city.
Have a Sensational Saturday and a Wondrous Weekend, Friends.
(Only TWO more weekends after this one remain until Christmas!)

I'm home safe! It's snowing steadily now, so I'm glad to be home.

I'm doing that (as I work on a recording project). I can see the snow through the window as I look past our Christmas tree, which is lighted, of course! The colored lights inside and the monochrome color palette outside make such a pretty contrast! And the snow is sticking to branches and other objects, so it's very picturesque here today.
