That is my favorite version, closely followed by the 1951 Alastair Sim version.

I also like the Alastair Sim version. So we tied a record here in Chicago with nine consecutive day's with snow, eighteen inches in seven days. Running out places to put it!
All the time. Except if there's something major going on at the GWB where everything is backed up for 15 miles, the siri will divert me and take me over the Tap-n-zee bridge and keep me heading on a south west direction.
You know, A Christmas Carol is one movie, that I just have to watch every year (sometimes multiple times). My favorite ones are the 1938 version with Reginald Owen and Gene Lockhart, the George C Scott one and a newer version and I just love it and its soundtrack, the 1999 version staring Patrick Stewart and Joel Grey; the graphics, songs and everything was done wonderfully!
They loved him! They got me the cutest gift. It’s a hoodie with a kangaroo pocket and I can put Rocky inside lol. This is a picture from the website ~

It’s going to be cloudy today with a chance of a shower, highs near 45 degrees. Not too much going on here, just a typical day of errands and chores. I need to stop at the bank & post office. I also plan on taking a ride to HoneGoods to look around, haven’t been there in awhile. I’m going to make chicken soup and biscuits for dinner. That’s about it for me. Hope everyone is well. Wishing all of you a great week ahead!

Morning MMC. The battle between winter and spring has begun here already. We had quite the rainy weekend here. And now back and forth to colder then warmer then colder then warmer temps. I still think at some point we'll get a big snowstorm before winter ends. We'll see though as we're supposed to be milder than average for the rest of February. I saw 5 seasons out at once in the store this weekend: Leftover Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Spring (seeds) and summer (bbqs). Never seen that many at one time in one store. Have a great Monday!

And joy of joys, we have now reached another Milestone Day!

Now, let it now be known far and wide, that the entire FIRST QUARTER of our trip to Christmas Season 2018 is now complete, and we have officially entered the SECOND quarter of the journey.
(Now, that is starting to make things appear closer for sure, doesn't it?)
Wow. It was REALLY warm yesterday for February, topping out at 73 for the afternoon high. No rain too, despite threats. A truly perfect mid-winter day!
Today will see us cool off some, into the lower 60's, and rain is a distinct possibility.
We begin today at a temperature reading of 63 degrees, here.

Good Monday morning! A beautiful sunny Winter morning, not too cold, just perfect. Temperatures will warm up during the week and it's supposed to stay quite warm for the next couple of weeks. I'm watching the Olympics while having breakfast, while Loki is staring at birds and squirrels. The plan today is to tackle some deep cleaning around the appartment. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning MMC! Merry Monday!!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I probably had the most relaxing weekend on record! I barely left the house! I actually feel like a had a break - no mom care, didn't meet up with friends - just relaxed at home & watched movies, looked through magazines, getting ready to place my seed order for the garden! I feel a rejuvenated...for a Monday!! LOL!!
I started watching The Preachers Wife last night - it was good, but I like Bishops Wife better. I ended up switching to the Olympics. I love watching figure skating! ♥
Hubby comes home this afternoon/early evening. Vacation is over for both of us! Ha ha!! Sounds like he had a good time & I enjoyed my time too, so all is good. But it will be nice to have him home again!
