Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I'm running around here at work, trying to get things done so I can feel good about being out of the office all next week. I'll be attending a trade show in Denver, which will be fun, but it's hard to get enough ahead. And the guy I work with most closely is out of the office today and tomorrow in Birmingham, so I have to do some things he usually does, too. Whew!

Anyway, it's still Nancy's tax season for a few more days, and prom is this weekend, so my house is crazy, too.

Good Thursday morning! This week seems to be dragging on. It doesn't help that I've done some work from home and gone in early/stayed late a couple of times. It feels like I'm running after time at work, it's tiring. It looks like grey skies and rain or snow over the next 5 days. This weather is probably not helping my mood any. Time to snap out of this and do some exercise and try to get energized and ready for another work day. Have a great one everyone!

Good morning MMC!! Merry Friday Eve!!! A beautiful - though windy day is in store for us! High of 72º!

I can't remember what 72º outside feels like. LOL! But of course we are supposed to have wind gusts up to 50 MPH.

We brought our patio furniture out from storage last night. It was funny b/c we did this after dark - at 9pm - & we "caught" our back yard neighbors out doing the exact same thing - so we were hollering back & forth. Too funny!! I think we may have a Funday Friday tomorrow afternoon!! 1st of the year!

Not much up for today besides work. My hubby has the day off. Lucky duck!! He's at the farm already! I'm planning to make Hobo packs for supper tonight. We were supposed to have them last night, but hubby worked too late & didn't have lunch until 3pm so he wasn't hungry! Go figure! Something to look forward too tonight!

Happy Thursday friends!
Not too much going on here today, I woke up with a headache so I’m moving kind of slow. I’m just having my coffee and playing with Rocky right now. I’m going to make a Target run later with my oldest to do some more shopping for her apartment. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. Dinner will be a mozzarella stuffed meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I didn't know that myself until I stumbled upon it last night when I was looking for candles that you can set on a window sill. I am still looking into the candles, haven't purchased anything yet, because I'm not so sure to which kind to buy. I know I would like to have a metallic base, for weight to keep them in place. But I am not sure if I want regular incandescent or LED type or flicking flame type. I keep reading quite a bit of negative reviews on-line from folks that have purchased either the flickering flame type or LED type; they're saying that the light is not bright enough.

Another thing is that, do you go with the battery type or electrical plug-in type. I'd rather not deal with batteries all the time, and they again I don't want electrical cords everywhere where a person could see them. And I have (2) kitties, that you know darn well, are going to knock them over...

Decisions, decisions, decisions.... Can anyone offer any suggestions, tried and true lessons learned, etc...

Depending what you are looking for - our friend got all of us lake neighbors one of these for Christmas. I have had mine on (turns on dusk to dawn) every night since Feb. 17th & it's still going strong. Nice bright light - might be almost too bright if you had a bunch of them??? But I really like this & would like to get more. Takes 3 AA batteries.

Morning MMC. I went to bed early and still woke up feeling I could sleep more. Isn't sleep great? Anyway, just got a lot to do at work the next 2 days before I have a 3 day weekend. Definitely looking forward to it and it looks like we have nice Saturday ahead and then a stormy chilly Sunday and Monday. Oh well 1/3 ain't bad the way this spring has gone . Have a good day!

We had our final cool day yesterday and today is supposed to see us well into the 70's with 80's possible tomorrow and no rain on the horizon.

I realized at 8:58 this morning that there was a Golden Girls Christmas episode that had started at 8:30! Darn!! Missed it! It's on again at 11:30 tonight - IF I'm still awake! There is a Christmas Episode of Alice on Antenna TV tonight at 7:30. Might be able to catch that one! Have a great day!

Hope your headache goes away quick!! Mozzarella stuffed meatloaf??? Yum! you remind me I have a recipe for grilled stuffed meatloaf I haven't made for a long time! It's stuffed with sautéed onions & mushrooms. I bet some mozzarella in there would be "da bomb!" Sounds like an experiment for when the weather gets nice!

Depending what you are looking for - our friend got all of us lake neighbors one of these for Christmas. I have had mine on (turns on dusk to dawn) every night since Feb. 17th & it's still going strong. Nice bright light - might be almost too bright if you had a bunch of them??? But I really like this & would like to get more. Takes 3 AA batteries.

Our 70's is supposed to hit this weekend and then Sunday will be down to 39..crazt weather but we are headed to FL on Monday and the temps have been in the 80's.
