You're welcome!

Things are going well with me. The store is still open and Palmer is as feisty and playful as ever. Thank you for asking! :)

I saw in another post where you had a health scare with your son, so glad all is going well with him. I'll be keeping all of you in my prayers! {{{HUGS}}}

Glad to hear all is well and that Palmer is doing well too!

Thank you for the prayers as well. (((Hugs))) back to you!

Good Sunday morning! It will be another sunny day here, glad I can finally enjoy it as I have the day off. Right now I'm the only one up, it's so quiet without David and Loki by my side (Loki always stays in bed until David gets up or if he smells food, whatever comes first). We'll have some errands to run and a few chores (there's no escaping these!) but I mostly want to go for a long walk at the park and to relax after long work days. Hope everyone will enjoy a nice day!

Good Morning, Folks!

Post-Milestone and Pre-Milestone. It is eternally thus.
We have just passed one and sure enough, the next one is looming.

But we will get to that after this:
Days to the Season: 156
Days to Christmas Day: 198

Now that the 200-Day window has been opened on BOTH of our counts, we can turn our attention to Milestone marker number 10.
(That's right. I said TEN.)
If you don't want to know (or are too scared to find out) just skip ahead to the weather report.
OK. You're still here. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Milestone number 10.
Well.......let's not drag this out.......It's the HALF WAY POINT TO CHRISTMAS!
That's correct. In just 16 days, we will be HALF WAY back to Christmas Day.
(Now, are you glad you stayed for the news or wish you hadn't?)

Dry yesterday but warm. Today was supposed to be rainy, but the weather service has pushed that back to tonight, so we should have another pretty good day.
Right now, we stand at 71 sunny degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Super Sunday, Everyone.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Thanks Crown! Scary to think that this will be the LAST milestone that is Half/or less!

Minta, you are a model in planning/buying Christmas gifts early in the year. I am in awe.

Thank you ... I bought a gift from Yankee Candle for another family member last night so now I can check them off my list. Got to love mid year clearance sales.

The goal is to be done shopping by the first in Dec as we want to spend the weekends and some of the week nights in December doing Christmas related activities instead of out shopping :)

Today I did make my pot of Bean Soup. I used a recipe that Minta passed on to me and I have to tell ya, it turned out fantastic. I tweaked it just a bit and added a couple more things and it turned into a soup that you can eat with a fork, so I added more chicken stock and that kinda of evened things out just a bit.

I can't wait to try it again tomorrow, it seems like soup only gets better as it ages a little bit.
Today and into late this evening, it was packing, packing and packing for us. We are knocking out room after room and are making great progress. We got to also make a run to Goodwill tomorrow to drop off a few items that we no longer need or have a use for.

Hope everyone has a nice night.

Soup sounds awesome and the best thing about soups is that you can tweak it to suit your tastes and they are always better the next day :)

Good morning .. well the rain held off for most of the day yesterday so we got a lot yard work done. The only thing not done is the flower bed, the weeds just took over so we hired someone to come in weed them and level them out so they should be done this week. Never got to the grocery store so I will be going later today. We went to the mall last night .. a lot of good mid year clearance sales and I was able to pick up a Christmas gift for a family member and something for me for the holidays :) That's another gift checked off my list.

I was in Michael's yesterday and they're already getting the fall decor. The Christmas stuff is soon to come. I love looking at all the great new ideas for the holidays. Have a great Sunday all.

Thanks for the update! Michael’s always has great stuff!

Good evening, MMC! It’s been raining all day here, which was perfectly okay with me. It was great sleeping weather.

About to head in to work. It’s going to be a busy week up ahead. Looking forward to it!

I hope you’re all enjoying your Sunday!

Good morning .. sitting here enjoying coffee and relaxing before I have to take my daughter to work, do yard work and go grocery shopping. Hoping to get all that done before the rain moves in this afternoon. Ordered the kids their main Christmas Gifts yesterday ... So we are pretty much done buying toys for our son... just need to get him clothes, dvds and the rest of his stocking stuffers. So excited to be this far ahead of the game this early in the year but we did score some great deals on gifts for him at Toys R us in the past month.

After reading your post my husband and I went to check out our Toys R Us which is also closing....and we got the best deals!!! We have 8 nieces and nephews total but two are under the age of 7 plus each have a close to Christmas birthday (November and January). We got both of their Birthdays and Christmas completed today. I couldn't believe the deals that were there! We picked up some great toys including a karaoke machine with two microphones for duets for my 6 year old niece that was 50% off and will be loud and annoying for my brother!! Hahaha...what else are Aunts and Uncles for but to buy the most annoying toy ever and then go home to their quiet house!?! Thanks for the idea to check out Toys R Us!

Merry Monday MMC!
It’s going to be a beautiful day, sunny with temperatures in the upper 60’s. Typical day of errands and chores for me. My husband and I also plan on going to the DMV, we both need to renew our drivers license. Fun, fun, fun. I hope everyone had a nice weekend and has a great week ahead!!!
xx

Good Morning, Christmas Chasers, Season Seekers and Milestone Maniacs!
(We're a wild bunch alright, but proud of our craft of pursuit.)

So, moving right along, we present today's data:
Days to the Season: 155
Days to Christmas Day: 197

And our next marker, a truly major one, is now only 15 days down the road.
TWO WEEKS from tomorrow.
It's the HALF WAY POINT TO CHRISTMAS, my Friends.
(Things are starting to move at a dizzying pace!)

No rain developed yesterday evening, despite the possibility of precipitation predicted. We did get some in the early morning hours. Today shows us with an 80 percent chance of the wet stuff and a 60 percent chance for tomorrow.
We have started off a bit cloudy here this AM, at 71 degrees.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Guys!
Enjoy the week ahead.
