Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

Wow, did it ever rain last night! Nancy, Lulu and I went to the Dollar Store last night to pickup a few things, and when we got home it was raining so hard we sat in my truck for 20 minutes before braving the storm.

We were hoping to grill at our house by the pool tonight for mom's birthday, but it's supposed to rain again. I think Jim and I will just grill at her house under the shelter. That'll be easier on Jim's wife, too.

Thanks made!! I texted my hubby to see if there was an update & he said the only update is that the food is lousy! Ha ha ha!!! (big shocker!) :rolleyes:
Doc had not been in yet, but they were running a lot of tests. Hopefully all is good! xx

Morning MMC! Well I picked up my brother last night at the airport and I couldn't help but think "he was just here for Christmas" and somehow we're almost Halfway there again. We already had fun last night joking around on the way home. Ran a little extra harder today just to make sure I can still do it despite turning 40 lol. I really don't feel it...I feel closer to 30 but as "they" say 40 is the new 30. Back to work for me for 3 days. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Lol!! I swear at ours, the patients get a lot better food than the people who buy at the cafeteria. Some of mom’s dishes looked better than you get at a restaurant.

Hope the doctor comes in soon and that all of the tests come back clean!!!

Just got news this morning that my FIL went to the ER last night. He was having issues with his right leg, blurred vision, dizzy, his BP was high! Hopefully it was all due to the BP & they got that under control & nothing more serious! He was resting comfortably when my MIL left the hospital at 11:30 last night. They are doing an MRI & other testing today. xx Hoping for an update before long!

Hospital food is surprisingly not too bad. You’re very right about that!
 
Good afternoon, MMC! Today is my day off. I go back tomorrow evening, so after getting some sleep, I’m going to go out and enjoy this beautiful weather we’re having today.

Other than that, I’m sure we’ll do something fun with the kids.

Our local hospital here is just the opposite. The food in the cafeteria is descent! People actually go there just to eat, like a restaurant! The patients food ~ not so much! I'm sure b/c they don't know yet what is going on & b/c of his high blood pressure last night, he is not getting any salt. Probably a bland meal. My MIL is an awesome cook, so he's pretty spoiled! ;)
