Hello all.

The concert last night was great. The place was small enough that you could see everything very well. All three bands sounded good. The Iron Maidens (female Iron Maiden tribute band) were outstanding. They put on a great show. Queensyrche was amazing. Better than when I saw them last year even.

This morning we went to a pre-1840s living history event and walked around for a while. It was a nice event, though not particularly historically accurate. But still fun. I grew up doing living history events and Civil War reenacting. My wife and I have participated in a few events but we want to really get back into it. With Henry being 9 it is a good age where he will enjoy the experience and really be able to take part in the goings-on. He is excited about doing it too.

Not much else on the agenda for today, perhaps some editing on my paper.

Everyone have a good evening!

Not a bad day, friends. Church, birthday party, groceries, and all of it took place in great weather! Slightly overcast, breeze, and high in the mid 90's. Only bad thing is that the mosquitos are now out in full force. They usually move in late June, early July...right after a shower or storm.

Going to be a great week. I can just feel it. My Razorbacks play tomorrow in the College World Series...this is the last week before the 4th...just an exciting time.

Y'all have a great week, too. See you in a few days!

Good morning christmas friends...Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend..Its the hottest day of the summer so far today...Struggled to sleep last nite with the heat..Head out in a bit and wash the patio..Enjoy your day ahead christmas friends:)

Happy Leon Day MMC! Unbelievable today is the big day and Rudolph Day #6! It's a great feeling. Today is the 1st day at work without my co-worker who knows everything so we'll see how things go. Wednesday I took off as I had to change my day from today till then. Breaks up the long week though. Enjoy your Leon Day!

Happy Leon Day Edge!
I hope you've been doing well. :)

Good Morning, Everybody.

We are into the final week of June now, believe it or not.
How can the year possibly be moving by so fast? We must be nearly half way back to Christmas by now, don't you think?
Wait.
We almost ARE!!

Days to the Season: 141
Days to Christmas Day: 183

And yes Folks, it's true.
TOMORROW we will indeed be half way back to that very special day we wait all year for.
Don't forget to tune in here tomorrow to witness a ** MILESTONE DAY ** !

We have entered a period now of having very warm and humid afternoons but reasonably pleasant evenings. Today should be our last 90's day until Thursday, but our rain chances increase for today and tomorrow.
This first day of the work week has commenced here in the capital county at 77 degrees.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Friends!
Enjoy the week ahead.

Merry Monday MMC ~
It’s going to be sunny today with highs near 80 degrees. My oldest just left with her fiancé, they’re going to Hershey Park for a few days. Should be lots of fun. Not too much going on here for me, just a typical day of errands and chores. My middle one is off so I’ll probably hang out by the pool with her later this afternoon. I’m going to grill a marinated flank steak for dinner along with baked potatoes and roasted asparagus. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!
xx

HAPPY LEON DAY!!
-reindeer-

I believe lots of Christmas music is in order today. Perhaps a Christmas movie or two also?

It is hard to believe that we are so close to the end of June.

The weather is pretty nice today. 80ish today, with no rain. Should be decent much of this week before returning to the 90s. I should really mow the grass today while it is nice outside.
Everyone have a wonderful day! Think Christmassy thoughts.

Happy LEON Day, Christmas friends!

As ITP pointed out above, LEON is NOEL spelled backwards, and marks the mid-point and downward trip back to Christmas Day!

I dropped off Elizabeth's car, Cassandra (as she's named it), at the body shop yesterday afternoon. Hopefully, they'll have her fixed up this week. We're planning to drive her on our trip to the mountains next week. Nancy doesn't her new car to get dirty LOL.

I'm heading to Orlando tomorrow for a work conference. Oh, and golf. Don't forget the golf.;)

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

You're having great weather! It was 98°F yesterday, not counting the heat index. Even the pool water was warm!

Have a safe trip!! I hope the shop can get Cassandra knocked out quickly!!

Twas the week before CIJ and all through the land
People were rushing to beaches to sit in the sand

The Christmas Fanatics, well they were hoping for snow
Forget the heat and humidity, let those northern winds blow

Trees were coming out of storage, their lights shining bright
Six months stuck in the closet, man that just wasn’t right

No, now it’s time to party, time to decorate the den
For Christmas would be appearing on our tv screens again

I mean Hallmark movies start on the 29th, yo that’s Friday
Forget fireworks and cook outs, the start of CIJ is my day

QVC starts their party Sunday, the Mercury glass will glow
Fighting the Christmas naysayers, with 31 years of shows

So make up a batch of eggnog and maybe add a bit of rum
Because it’s time to kick back and relax while we enjoy the CIJ fun
