The weekend went really well with Jill's sister and the 2 little ones, visiting us from DC. Everybodyne except for the kitties. They have been so stressed out with the moving, contractors, deliveries and family visits. Shiloh wont come out from underneath the bed and Ariel, who's usually as curious as a cat about everything, was no where's to be found with the kids running around in the house.

It did take us several hours to go behind the little ones after they left and clean-up the cookie crumbs, crayon shavings, and other items on our floors. little handprints everywhere and we cannot figure out, how on earth did they get chocolate stains on the ottoman, when they didn't have any chocolate. Now that I think of it, maybe it's not chocolate after all!

However, we did find the candy canes, and un-stuck them from in the carpet in several places...LOL!!!

Hopefully, after a day or so of peace and quiet, they will feel more at ease and will have some forthcoming quiet days ahead.

Glad that you guys had a great time!!

I'm sure Shiloh and Ariel are enjoying the peace & quiet now, and resting up after the festivities. They'll be back to exploring in no time! I'll keep the cuties in my thoughts.

It sounds like those boys had fun!! Ha!

Merry Monday!!

It’s been awhile since I posted in the countdown, so I thought I’d pop in and say hello.

Hope you’re enjoying your summer so far!!

I’m loving all things CIJ!! Beating the heat with Hallmark Christmas movies, QVC, and working on getting organized early for the upcoming season.

We are doing pretty well.
Staying busy at work, with Harlowe, and traveling to visit our families often.
And trying to get as much time in outdoors as possible.

Good evening, friends! It’s been a busy day. We had our niece all day, she just went home. I took DD to get a mani and pedi for vacation. It was a fun time together.

I got most packed today what I need to and will finish the last minute things tomorrow. We leave to head down to MD tomorrow night and fly out Wednesday morning.

Good morning MMC!! Ready or not.....I'M BACK!!!! I know I wasn't ready! (to come back to work!) How can a week off go so darn fast??
We had a great week, just hanging at the lake with friends. Lots of boat rides & cook outs! Mercy was it HOT outside though!! Whew!!! Friday & Saturday finally cooled off...but it was warm yesterday & it's heating up again today!

Family Olympics were a blast yesterday! I'm telling ya - my family 'aint right. I told my mom that yesterday & she said "It took you this long to figure that out??" Ha ha! Too fun!
Lucy had a good birthday party on Saturday! She had more fun in her pool all week ~ she was crazy in there!! I made a cake for the dogs. They gobbled it up! She's 1 year old now! Big girl! ♥

Everyone, have a great day!! Looks like I have some catching up to do!

Welcome back Holiday! Sounds like you had a great week, though you are right, it goes by much toi fast. Lucy is 1 and is adorable as ever with her friends. Hope your first day back at work wasn’t too harsh.

Merry Monday!
I have some exciting news to share. Looks like we’ll be planning another wedding, my youngest daughters boyfriend proposed to her over the weekend. My “baby” is engaged! We’re very excited, lots of good stuff ahead. We’re already counting down to my oldest daughter & her fiancés wedding which will be on January 4th. My poor husband lol. It will be funny if my middle one ends up getting engaged soon as well. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Rocky is doing good. He can be quite the wild man though, keeps me on my toes. The kitty cats are great and Rocky is finally getting along with all of them!

Morning MMC! I barely have had time to check this thread much during the day so I'm trying to go back a little and read some of the posts. After today things should calm down (some) at work. And other than that we expect a hot day today. Pretty cool to see the Fall Items start to slowly make their way out already. I am going to look around this week to see if I see anything. Good Morning MMC !!

lovely morning here. Happy to hear of all the Christmas sightings !!
I got a tweet from a Christmas store showing off the new window display they put up ! if I could find it back i will post the picture.
Off to work at the store today, have to take a city bus which I have not been on for a few years. Grateful it is available.
Will be getting my daughters car on Saturday so it will be nice to use that for awhile. Hoping it will not take long to get my own wheels again.
