Post-show depression is so a tough thing. Suffered from it after every production I was in, and I had it after my kids were in shows, especially if I was participating. My daughter was Michael in Peter Pan, and I had to pull the cables so she could fly. It was a lot of fun, but I was downright depressed after it was over.

We are here to help with that matter and as such, we present today's data:
Days to the Season: 113
Days to Christmas Day: 155

As for our next Milestone marker, well that's now UNDER two weeks up the road.
Of course, we speak of the 100-Day Season Window, and the beginning of a DOUBLE-DIGIT Season count!

Well, a heat rut has now transitioned into a rain rut, with precipitation in the forecast for quite some time to come. In fact, a light rain has just finished falling.
We are currently at 72 degrees, here under overcast skies.

Good morning all.

First day of football practice this evening. I am going to spend a few hours writing today before practice.
Henry is out with my wife and mother-in-law doing back to school shopping. Yep, you read that right... back to school shopping.:eek: School starts in a month.

I will be listening to Kringle Radio today while writing. We will see how many Christmas song lyrics make it into my paper. :p

We plan on relaxing, grilling out, going for bike rides, walks, and hanging out with some of our friends in the neighborhood for a campfire. Should be really nice!
The girls will love the cooler weather, we just have to get through storms today. Jazzie isn't impressed.

Harlowe spent her morning at the "spa". She is always so happy when Adi picks her up in the getaway car :p

It’s going to be warm and humid with chance of showers and thunderstorms. Very tropical out there, not a good hair day! Just a typical day of errands and chores for me. My middle one is off so she’ll be tagging along. We’re going to grab pizza for lunch. I’m going to grill marinated chicken later tonight for dinner. I think we’ll slice it up and have it over a big tossed salad. I’m also going to make a warm roasted potato salad with bacon. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!!!

Looks like we are going to have showers and humidity for the week.
My daughter's foot got stepped on in the middle of her soccer game last night. It is so swollen and I think she is definitely going to be bruised. When we got home we iced it and some advil. We'll see how it is today.

Good morning MMC! A late check in from me! I was with mom this morning until the Amish came & I can't deny I had to go home & take a little siesta before coming to work. I didn't sleep great at her house last night! I couldn't keep my peepers open!! Then I got a call from Mandy (Amish) that mom was still sleeping at 10:30 this morning!! She didn't want to wake up! So I went over & helped to get her out of bed. She was really sleeping good ~ felt bad waking her! But Hospice was coming around 11 so we wanted her to eat something, etc. She's been a piece of work! ;) Dementia is real!!

We had a family party on my hubby's side yesterday. They made homemade elephant ears & ribbon fries! Everybody brought a dish. It was so nice out - at Jims Aunts campground/woods. It wasn't a great turnout but it was nice chatting with the peeps that were there.

Not much up for today besides work. The weather is beautiful. I've got the windows open! Hallmark on tv! It's all good for a Monday!! :)
