Lol!! I’d try to stay up last night but passed out on the recliner a little after 11.

I have some stuff to get done this afternoon but I’ll be back tonight.

Good morning, Christmas fantatics. For a change, I have an update of my own today. Last evening was too fantastic not to share.

My dear son and daughter-in-law got the whole family together to announce the gender of the child they are expecting this December on my birthday. (It will be great having another Christmas baby in the family!) They are having a boy. This will be our first (of many, I hope) grandchildren. All are very excited to welcome this precious little one into the family!!!

Also, the kids had a conference behind closed doors after the big baby announcement. After they let me and my wife into the room, they told us that they are taking us to Frankenmuth for a day next month to celebrate our 30th anniversary. A day of all of us hanging around and enjoying the city (BRONNER’S!!!!) and ending with a room all to ourselves at Zehnder’s for a chicken dinner, conversation, and games.

Life is good!!!

Did you watch a movie that you haven't seen for awhile?
As you know, we were sitting on the patio - but Hallmark was on inside! And I watched Christmas At Holly Lodge. Great movie!

I put in The Family Stone, one of my favorites. I couldn’t sit too long, but listened to it as I was tending to the girls & getting a few things done around the house.

Merry Rudolph Day everyone. The dental appointment is done. I've taken the dog for a little walk and he found a lovely mud puddle to wade into. He was happy. Me not so much.

The 2018 Christmas card exchange is up and running, so I've just signed up and look forward to sending out all the wonderful Christmas cards when the season starts.

We're off to visit relatives this afternoon and do a little shopping. Have a great day all and keep cool.

P.S. This isn't the puddle, but he was this dirty today.

Good morning, MMC! Happy Rudolph Day and Merry Christmas in July!

I was off work last night and will be tonight too. I’m currently watching QVC. I hope I can find some deals today! I’m meeting a friend at 8 for breakfast, then we have to run to work and take our yearly CPR class. I’ll come home, get some things done, then the kids and I are meeting one of our best friends and their daughter for a movie and dinner this evening.

Good Morning, friends!!

So many fun things about today!!

Merry CIJ, Rudolph Day, and Pines Day!!
It’s a must to have Christmas music on all day!!

I plan to watch a Christmas movie tonight, still picking one out that I haven’t seen for some time. And Hallmark will be kept on all day as usual, need to take advantage of the last few days of Christmas movies. QVC live will be on my laptop, as well

Some work today, making taco dip for the party tonight, and hopefully will be able to get a walk in with Adi and the girls-if weather allows. Looking forward to another cool down after these storms.

Harlowe & Jazzie are hanging in, seem to be improving a little. But still not feeling that great~ hopefully they both rest up today and are feeling much better by tonight. Jazzie actually only ate a little of her chicken & rice-proof she’s having a rough go at things. Normally, that would’ve been inhaled

Happy Rudolph Day #7! Happy Pines Day. Friday here for me as I'm getting this 4 day break that I've been waiting for the last month. Definitely hope this helps me rebound. The humidity continues to be crazy and the showers popping up and then the sun comes out. Very tropical weather and will continue today. Have a great day!

Thanks, the day is going pretty well so far. Can’t wait until the weekend, my folks are coming up Friday. I missed them! Can’t wait to hear about their time in Alaska. We are going to take them to their favorite supper club here to celebrate their 50th

So tantalizingly close to SINGLE DIGITS!

Rain continues off and on as predicted. Fortunately more off than on, allowing some outdoor work between raindrops.
Today will see more of the same, with highs in the mid-80's.
This center day of the week has commenced here at a drippy 75 degrees.

Carl is acutely aware of how rapidly the summer seems to be passing and wants this evening's open house activities to reflect a continued commitment to our current season and to encourage enjoying it to the fullest.
Don't miss the fun tonight, and bring your appetites. (Rumor has it that a brand new beverage blend will be tried out on willing guinea pigs.)

It’s going to be another warm and humid day with showers & thunderstorms. Not too much going on here. The girls and I have an appointment at a bridal boutique later tonight to look at bridesmaid dresses. We’re going to have dinner together before our appointment, I’m going to make lasagna. Other than that I’ll be working on the laundry. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
