My friend & I did scrapbooks together of our cruise. WOW did that take a lot of time. We had her kitchen all set up for scrapbooking & I was there almost every week night - for weeks!! Just time consuming!! But so cool!!! Usually if I do an album now, I do them online...which is still time consuming!!
I hope so too!! xx She is a cute dog. Normally when I have Lucy at moms, if Piper is there she curls up around the back of her mama's neck!!Piper is so adorable!!

I lied earlier when I said there wasn't much up for today besides work. At lunch I am getting a house guest for the weekend. Miss Piper...my niece's dog!It's going to be interesting!! I hope Lucy doesn't eat her!!!!!!!!

Hello all.
Very tired today, for no good reason really, just...tired.
I have been trying to write more on my thesis everyday which is not how I usually work. I prefer to just sit down and write for several hours, but that is more difficult to do on this paper. So, the last few days I have spent 2-4 hours writing. I am not too far from the end, the final draft is due on August 26; however, I am hoping to finish up a week early so I am not overlapping with the start of school.
Football practice has been fun this week, we have practice again tonight. This is just conditioning week so lots of running, exercise and a few small drills. Most of the kids seem to be having fun, but a few are really struggling as you can tell they have spent the summer inside on the couch only exercising their thumbs.
Well, time to get some writing done, everyone have a great day!

Thanks, Inspection went well. Everything passed. Now just have to wait for the electric company to come out and replace the meter and then we can activate the panels.
Good afternoon ... another muggy, humid day here with increased temps today and tomorrow ... its just so nasty feeling out and with an seemingly never ending trail of scattered rain/storms its too unstable to even go to the lake to enjoy the water. On the bright side, I was in walmart last night and the lawn and garden area is getting pretty bare ... not much longer before we see those boxes with the wonderful Halloween and Christmas logos on them

I have not been in our local Walmart yet, but I know it will not be long for the Halloween stuff to be out. My favorite is when Menard's starts getting their Halloween stuff out. That usually happens towards the end of August. Their Christmas stuff is always out around the first of October.
The big family reunion has come and gone. The highlight of the event was a visit to the train museum in Union, IL. It was a stop for the "Day with Thomas the Train" tour. Yes, we rode a museum train with Thomas as the engine. Whenever Thomas pulled back into the station, all of the kids/families turned and migrated in his direction.
The grandvarmints had a terrific time. They spotted a blow - up Thomas on the property, while we waited to drive onto the site, and blew their parents ears out with their shouts and squeals.
