Happy Sunday, HmG!!Good morning MMC ~
Merry Sunday!
It’s going to be hot and humid today, highs near 90 degrees. I’m having a cup of coffee and working on the laundry right now. I don’t really have any plans for today, we’ll just be hanging out by the pool this afternoon. And I’m going to make lasagna for dinner. That’s about it.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Thanks, Crown!! Happy milestone day!!********** MILESTONE DAY **********
Good Morning, My Many Merry Milestone Meeters.
Yep. We have met the Milestone and it is ours!
Let's look at the exciting numbers:
Days to the Season: 100
Days to Christmas Day: 142
And there you have it.
We are there. Arrived, that is.
At the ONE HUNDRED DAY SEASON WINDOW!!
And tomorrow?
We start a DOUBLE-DIGIT Season count, as we chase down the holidays.
(Wow!)
Well say, now. We actually had a rain-free day all day yesterday and I was able to get some yard work done.
Make hay while the sun shines, they say. (The same applies to mowing grass!)
Today may be rain-free too, if we are lucky.
This morning has commenced sunny here in central NC, at 74 degrees.
Have a Super Sunday, my Friends!
And a great week next week, under the watchful eyes of our own Minta and Edge, who will be filling in for me during this upcoming week as the Crowns journey to Florida and South Carolina to visit relatives.
See you back here one week from tomorrow!
Stay cool, and have a wonderful milestone day Brent!!Good morning, everyone!
It's going to be a hot one in Ottawa. We are currently around 90F with the Humidex and it should be reaching about 105F today. Hot. Hot. Hot. I wish I had more time to type, but I have to get ready to go for a run. I'm heading up to the trails today to get some shade and hopefully lower temperatures. It's still going to be quite warm.
I hope everyone has been having a great weekend!
Mr. Moto's Gamble (1938) starring Peter Lorre. (Interesting---it was an unfinished Charlie Chan film that was re-worked into a Mr. Moto film.) We also saw a kinescope of a 1967 Ted Mack Amateur Hour, and a kinescope of a 1950s talent-scout game show hosted by Robert Q. Lewis. Then we finished the evening with an episode of "Father Ted." I think I can safely say we were the only folks in the world enjoying that mix of items yesterday evening!I hope you enjoyed your movie and yet was able to also relax and rest. What movie. Did he put on?
Happy Sunday and milestone day, SFM!!Happy Milestone Day! Hard to believe only 100 days! Just a relaxing day...I am catching up on laundry and will run to the grocery store. Hope you all have a great day!

Merry Sunday, friends~
It’s a hot and humid day here, as well.
We got spoiled with a few days of cooler temperatures.
I am making the trip back home to La Crosse, to be there for my sister and her dog Hailey who is not doing well. She has kidney disease, and hasn’t eaten for five days now. It’s heartbreaking.
She is going to be touching base with her vet tomorrow, and will probably have to make a tough decision pretty quickly. Please keep Shannon and Hailey in your thoughts and prayers.
She lost her other dog, Hunter, only a few weeks ago. So this has been a very hard time for her, Hailey, and my niece, Alyssa.
Adrian‘s Dad is also going through some health problems, it’s so hard to see loved ones struggling.
We had a nice time last night, celebrating his birthday. Dinner was excellent, and so was the time away with our friends. It helped us get our mind off things for a bit.
We also watched the Green Bay Packers scrimmage game on TV, it made me even more excited for the ‘Bers and football season!!
Wishing you all a blessed Milestone Day!!
