Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good Morning MMC !

Wow, time sure fly's lately for me. Getting canning done takes up a great deal of time. Nothing better than home canned items on those cold winter days ! We are so blessed to have such a great variety from Gods pantry to enjoy !

Also getting items ready to enter into our fall fair, the art challenge I am a part of and work.
Finally getting to see specialist on Thursday about my arm, really praying for a solution to constant pain.
My daughter now has her licence and her own car and wonders why she took so long to do it LOL
Penny has a problem with itchy ears and has been given a spray that has to be applied twice a day. She is not impressed, but it is fixing the problem. 4 more days of it and then she is done.

Morning Everyone! Happy Sunday! And August is moving right along forward towards the Bers and the Christmas Season. How far are we now from our magical time of year? Let’s take a look at this morning’s numbers with a cup of coffee (or if you are like Crown…tea please).

Days to the Season: 93
Days to Christmas Day: 135

We’re now just 2 days away from our next milestone, after we just had a monumental one hitting 100 days till the Season. The next one will happen Tuesday when we reach the ¾ marker and thankfully Crown should be here to bring it in for us. And speaking of Crown let’s all welcome them back on Monday! Until then enjoy the rest of your weekend!​

thankyou Edge ! wow, only 135 days to go !!! My Christmas gift storage box is only 1/4 full, I better get moving with gift buying !! So much fun to do all year round.

MMMM all those jars look so good. Congrats to your daughter getting her licence. I can totally relate to her wondering why it took her so long, I got mine at age 38 and years later, I still don't know why it took me so long. Hope the specialist will have some answers for you and that you find some relief from the pain. And hope Penny is not giving you too much trouble to give her the medicine she needs. Enjoy your day Christmasstar!
 
Good Sunday morning! It will be another gorgeous Summer day but humidity is on the rise again. Wish I could go out on long walks in the mornings when it's cool but I can't wear shoes for very long yet after all the troubles I got from wearing new shoes with no socks. The blisters are gone but I have spots at the back of my feet where I lost pieces of skin and it's still very sensitive. I already have a load of laundry out to dry and we have some errands to run this morning. Other than that it will be a quiet, relaxing day. Hope it's a great one for everyone!

Good Saturday afternoon everyone! It is an overcast yet humid day here today, which makes it a good day to stay inside! Went out to go to a farmers market yesterday and my car battery was dead. Charged it to get it going but it was dead again this morning so had to buy a new battery. It's always something!! I have a roast and potatoes in the oven and the house smells amazing! We will also have corn on the cob for dinner. (It is my goal to stuff as much corn on the cob into my body as I can while it is still summer! It is one of the only things I like about summer! My husband is getting kind of sick of it but I swear I could eat it everyday!) I hope everyone has a great and safe Saturday night!

Cars can be so frustrating- Computers too. Unfortunately, we need both.

Our neighbor brought us some from his garden, so we plan to have some tonight.

Good Saturday evening! It was hotter today but still low humidity so it was another great Summer day. We took Loki to the dog park where he barked at big dogs (people laughed and were surprised at how deep his bark is) and went for a nice drive. Now we’ll wind down by watching Blade Runner 2049. We watched Blade Runner last night, I had never seen it but was intent on watching it before watching the most recent one. Hope everyone has been enjoying a great day!
