No damage to our place but transmission lines down to our street. Strange, as we had very little wind. And ALL the other streets in our neighborhood have power!

Good Saturday evening! We spent part of the day driving around to see the place where my brother and I spent a Summer at one of my aunts’ house in the countryside, and to see Fall colours on a mountain nearby. There are some crazy rich people living there, huge mansions abound and they have such beautiful views of the colourful foliage. We’ll curl up under a blanket and watch some Netflix shows tonight. A perfect relaxing day. Hope everyone has had a great one as well!

Really nothing but about 3" of rain and some gusty winds. So surprising that our power went out after the storm had moved through, then did not come back for over 40 hours.

I've disappeared for a few days. I was quite worried about Charlotte being in the path of Michael. Glad to hear that everything ended up OK, Crown!

Looking forward to getting a countdown update tomorrow morning. Big thanks to Edge (from me as well) for taking over!
 
Merry Sunday!
It’s going to be cloudy today with highs near 60 degrees. I’m just having a cup of coffee and relaxing. I’m going to start a pot of sauce soon, dinner will be spaghetti and chicken parmesan. Not too much planned, I might take a ride to HomeGoods to get out for a bit. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope this finds you all well. Our local shops are filling up with Christmas stock, such an exciting time!

My eldest daughter turns 17 tomorrow (where did 17 years go?!) her birthday has always marked the start of the most exciting time of the year for us! So looking forward to celebrating with her tomorrow.

It’s a gloomy rainy day here in my part of the uk, the perfect weather for cooking comfort foods and watching movies!

Good Sunday MMC! Wow is it chilly out (or maybe I'm just not used to it). My favorite weatherman who does a weather discussion 3-4 times per week said the long-range pattern favors this chill sticking around. It's like someone flipped a switch but that seems to happen every year around Mid-October. Have a great Sunday!
 
Good Sunday morning, friends. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

We went out and about yesterday....and it was simply amazing. People were everywhere. The Halloween store was full, Hobby Lobby was packed, and the mall was full. People were checking things out and getting ready for the best months of the year. We love to go out during this time of year and just be a part of the people and the experience. It will stay pretty steady for the next few weeks...but the weekend before Thanksgiving, it will pick up a whole lot. This is one of my favorite things to do. It was so much fun...and it gets me fired up for the season.

The girls picked out their outfits for Halloween...we are going to have Poppy the Troll and Skye from Paw Patrol. I can hardly wait.

Making a big pot of chili today, watching some football, and doing some work in the house. Y'all have a good day!
 
Good Morning, post-Stormers!
Back after 41 hours without power, from Thursday evening to late Saturday morning.
No damage, just lots of small branches and pine cones to pick up.

And still the count goes on.
Today's info:
Days to Halloween: 17 (UNDER 2 1/2 weeks to go!)
Days to the Season: 30 (Under a month, now!)
Days to Christmas Day: 72 (Ten weeks from the day after tomorrow!)
(Making nice progress toward our goals.)

Much cooler weather since Michael passed through. Not sure it even reached 70 yesterday. And the air was nice and refreshing with limited humidity.
Today shows a predicted high of 70 and it should be sunny.
We begin Weekend Part II with a rather crisp temperature reading of 55 degrees here at this hour.

Good Morning ... OH I am so loving these temps. Yesterday we spent the day at 6 flags Great Adventure it only got up to 56 today is suppose to be a bit warmer .. 62. Perfect weather to make a roast. Going to get the rest of the inside fall decorations up and clean out the garage so more. Have a great day!

Happy Sunday! Right now I am waiting for carolina to get done Sunday school. On the way home we have to stop at Walmart to get her a thicker fall jacket. The high will be about 62 today. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70s and then back to the 50s. We will go to Mike's this afternoon. His parents should be back from Virgina by the time we get there. Carolina is hoping for a souviner
 
Good Sunday afternoon! It's been sunny on and off today but somewhat cold because of the wind. We've been watching some shows while doing loads of laundry. Loki ate a small piece of onion that fell to the floor and has thrown up twice. We'll be monitoring him as we know onions are not good for dogs. We'll be going out for a nice long walk when this last load is done. Hope everyone isenjoying a wonderful weekend.

I saw some pictures from Snowflake and it looked beautiful!! I’m totally jealous. It looks like we may see some next weekend though.
