Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good Morning, MMC!! It’s going to be a windy dreary day here in Central Indy. They are saying it could feel like January next week too. I don’t know if I’m ready for that. Mom has a neurologist appointment today. Other than that, I’m just going to work on some cleaning. Then at 6pm, I’m going to turn on the tv and hope for Christmas commercials instead of campaign ads. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Happy Tuesday! Yet more rain in the forecast, my kids are off today due to professional development day. Just work for me and the repairman is coming to fix our washer. I got it 2 months ago and it keeps going off balance...hopefully it is a quick fix. Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning, MMC! Not much planned for today. Now that I’m decorated and have the main cleaning done, I think I’ll try and get my bedroom done today and start going through what presents I’ve bought so far. I also have my niece today, but DH doesn’t go to work until 430, so that helps. I work tonight at 11, but am on call from 7-11, if they need me to come in.

a wet windy day here with high wind warnings out
LittleCS coming over so we can work at dress alterations and hopefully start baking gingerbread house pieces.
Major rearranging of living room to make it perfect for the rising of the Christmas tree.

I’m so sick of the calls too! It doesn’t help that I’m a nurse and DH is in a union, working for the fire department. We get calls for this too during this time. Drives me nuts!

Good Tuesday morning! Woke up at 6am but I don’t have to leave for work until 8:40, so I have plenty of time to relax this morning. I just watched Holiday Baking Championship on dvr. All those Holiday bakes looked so good. I’m itching to bake for Christmas. Enjoy a great day everyone!

I was so happy to see the Holiday Baking Championship started up again! I love getting ideas and inspiration from that show! The Christmas Cookie Challenge started again too! Love that one also!

Might be worthwhile frogging them (unraveling them) to start something new that you'd be more motivated to work on. When I don't know what I want to work on next, I make a hat. In November, I send all the hats I made during the year to a homeless shelter. Just sent off a box of 28 this week!

Soooo tired of ads & phone calls. We had messages on our phone last night from unknown numbers - I didn't even listen to them b/c I figure there will be more today & I can delete them all at the same time. Grrrrr!

Most of mine are over half done & large afghans! It would pain me to unravel all that work!! That is awesome what you do for the homeless shelter!

I got a message this morning from my new employer wanting to know if I wanted a ham or a turkey for Thanksgiving. How nice! Makes it all seem so close!!!
