Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!! We have beautiful snow this morning. It was coming down in buckets at bed time last night. Woke up to a winter wonderland today. Fluffy snow…and it’s still coming down. LOVE IT! Many schools are closed. Ours is still on a 2 hour delay. I sure hope we get some snow like this tomorrow when I’m at home so I can enjoy it!! :D

Everyone, have a wonderful day!!!!

Wow! it's supposed to be 75°F by tomorrow here in Bellville.

I was just looking into a French Press....are they easy to use and how long does it take to make a cup of coffee?
Really the only time involved is heating the water. I keep a gallon of drinking water at work & I heat a cup in the microwave. While it's heating I slip a filter in, add the coffee & when the water is hot you mix it with the coffee & press it through - maybe takes 20 seconds to press it through. Delicious! Let me know if you decide to get one. My niece brought coffee home from South Dakota I'm using now. It's a winter blend. Yum!

Well we got another dusting of snow overnight. It was just enough that I had to get out and sweep the sidewalk. Hearing aid appointment for Mom today. Of course, it’s at the exact same time as the rocket launch I want to watch too. Hopefully I’ll have good enough reception on my cell phone to stream it. That’s usually not the case there though. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Thank to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. Sorry I haven’t been on since my wife’s surgery. As you might guess, I’ve been pretty busy!

My wife’s operation was completely successful. However, the aftermath has been difficult. The first 36 hours had her in unbearable pain. She was maxed on pain meds and there was nothing going on, so the doctor told her she would just have to soldier through. Fortunately, she found some relief by packing her ankle in ice. By Sunday, she was starting to feel better. She’s getting around on crutches pretty well now but will be unable to put weight on it for about 2 months. As you might guess, I’m learning new lessons in being a good servant. “Good” may not be the right word. But I’m trying! I keep reminding myself that I’m privileged to have two good legs, so the least I can do is to bless her in every way that I can!

Also, Oliver is doing well with his heart worm treatment so far. He’s not normally a dog who bounces off the walls so that’s a plus. But I’m nervous every time he gets a bit active or barks. It gets really old taking him out on a leash to potty in this cold weather, too. Last night I took him and my Shepherd, Cody, out to potty before bedtime. They surprised a rabbit in the front yard and almost caught him. Yikes, Oliver was so excited that I thought for sure he was going to run into trouble!

Anyway, I think I’m back now. Missed everyone here!

Morning MMC. Back to work for me but got a lot done on my day off including my eye exam, ordered new contacts, Rollins vet appointment and went out to eat. It was a good day but with Rollins I had to bring him home due to biting the nurses. He is very over anxious and always has been. And our vet who we have had forever since Nitro was little and is very well regarded in our area advised us to try giving him Anti-Anxiety pill. It worked. Our vet said lots of dogs are on it just like people are and it helps them live their lives a lot more normal and happier that they don't have to be anxious all the time. Energetic is one thing but Rollins does take it to a whole new level. He said he's had some of his own dogs on it for years now and there's no side effects that come with it. We're kind of trying it out for now and see how he reacts to it short-term. Anyway sorry to ramble a little. Have a great day everyone!
Sounds interesting. If you decide to keep him on them, I hope they help him to live a happy puppy life!! The little stinker! :p
Have a good day!

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

It was an uneventful evening last night. I watched "The Cloverfield Paradox" on Netflix, which was awesome (especially if you've already seen the original movie, "Cloverfield"). Then I had a gordita from Taco Bell LOL.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
I am a taco bell fan, but I never get there! Sounds like you had a great night! Now have a good day! :)

Happy Tuesday!
Working today and my daughter has basketball practice tonight. We are having tacos for dinner.
My brother is coming up from Charlotte tomorrow for my Dad's b-day and staying until Friday night. I took a 1/2 day on Thursday and off on Friday.
Hope you all have a great day!
Happy Birthday to your dad. Enjoy the visit with your brother & have a great day!

Good morning and Happy Tuesday!
I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a little bit. I need to get moving soon. I have to tidy up, vacuum and start laundry. I need to do some food shopping this morning. I’m meeting my parents for lunch. Back home afterward to work on a few more chores around the house. Dinner will be tacos. I think that’s about it. I hope everyone is well. Have a great day!!!
xx
All this taco talk ~ now I'm hungry for taco's. I'll be having pizza at the neighbors tonight. Girls night!! :D
Have a good lunch with your parents & a great day!

Hope the appointment goes well & you are able to watch the rocket launch. Have a good day made!

Bless here heart! There's nothing worse than pain you can't escape. I'm glad it's eased off. I'm not a very good servant, either, but I'm sure she appreciates your efforts.

We had a terrier that had to be treated for heartworms one time. It was a worrisome experience, but he pulled through like a champ. I'm sure Oliver will be fine, too!

What a good care giver you are being! I'm glad your wife is feeling better. I'm sure that has to be frustrating!! Continued prayers for Oliver & your wife. (and you too!)

Glad to hear she is mending. Have you looked into a knee scooter for her? My FIL had one after he had surgery on his foot. It made things easier for him when he need to get around.

Good afternoon ... Well we are in one of those weather patterns where it gets colder after a storm moves through and then warms up enough when the next storm rolls through so all we get is either snow to rain, a nasty mix or just rain. I want more snow LOL ... Not mush else going on. Kids want to go to the Eagles Parade on Thursday but they already missed to much school a few weeks ago due to being sick plus it's going to be insane traffic wise trying to get to the parade. I am sure when I get home from work they will be asking again. Have a great day!

The weather has just been weird this year. We have had more snow than the last couple years, but it melts so fast b/c in a day or 2 after snow, it hits 50º or more! (Like 60º!) Crazy!
Good luck trying to convince your kids to not go to the parade - if you don't want to go! ;)
Have a good day Minta!

Well it's quitting time!! (YAY) I hope you all have a wonderful evening!

I got a message on my phone about a winter storm impacting my area tonight, into tomorrow. I sure hope I get to be cozy at home tomorrow, watching it SNOW!!!!
:snowball
Take care MMC!!!

I watched the SpaceX Falcon Heavy test flight a moment ago. It was pretty cool!

Elon Musk put his favorite car in the rocket, I guess to show his faith in it. There were cameras all around the rocket showing live video feed from inside and outside, and one of the cameras is inside the car looking at the dash and windshield.

The dash radio screen says "Don't Panic"...LOL! If you've ever read the book or seen the movie "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", you'll love it! :D

42!
