Good morning! So loving the cooler temps lately... can't deal with any more humidity!

It's my youngest's 8th birthday on Sunday (and my niece's 6th!) so we have a fun weekend planned. Friend party tomorrow joint party at my grandparents' Sunday!

Good morning MMC! A later check in from me! It's been "one of the mornings" at work!
I went to moms early this morning to show the new caregiver a few things. I'm working until noon, then going home to pack up for the weekend. I'll probably run my things to the lake, then I have to be at moms at 3! I'll be there until tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow afternoon is the bicycle poker run, Sunday is our friend playing/singing at the bar up the road & Monday is a day off work! YAY!!! I hope the weather cooperates!! xx
Anyone else have fun plans for the weekend?
I hope everyone's Friday is off to a good start!

Merry Friday!
My youngest and her fiancé get the keys to their apartment today. The next few days will be very busy for me. I’ll be helping them move in and get settled and I will try to keep up with my own stuff as well. I’m also waiting to hear if my Dad will be coming home from the hospital today. I will pop back in when I get the chance. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!

Morning MMC! TGIF! Slept 9 hours the last 2 nights back to back. Felt really good. It's really a low-key break for me and I'm actually kind of bored for a change which is nice. But got dentist/car taken care of. They gave me my next check-up as February 19th and I said that seems so far away and the receptionist reply was "it will be here before we know it." I don't want to think about February! Have a great day!

Good Morning and Happy Friday!

A wonderful 54 degrees this morning! I'm doing a serious Irish jig this morning (no kilt though) with waking up to those nice outside temperatures. Such a beautiful morning, with the sun shining, a heavy shimmering dew on the grasses and the birds singing (kind of sounds like Mary Poppins or something huh!).
This is the kind of weather where you can get some serious work done outside without sweating, having heat stroke or having those little flying vampires draining you!
I'm at the office earlier than usual because I am leaving earlier, so as I can be home to coordinate the delivery of 2 cords of firewood that I ordered.
It's getting to be time of year to where you have to get on those things before winter comes. As they say, early bird, gets the worm!

LOL! Enjoy that beautiful weather & getting off work early! Have a great day!

Good Morning, Weekend Eve Wonders!

And will wonders never cease?
Tomorrow is a **MILESTONE DAY**!

Let's take a peek at the numbers:
Days to the Season: 81
Days to Christmas Day: 123

And indeed, 'tis true, 'tis true.
As of TOMORROW, we will have completed TWO THIRDS of the journey back to Christmas. Then, the FINAL third of the trip begins.
And since we are already into the FINAL QUARTER of our Season count and only a week away from the start of the 'Bers, things will really start to move rapidly!

What a wonderful day we had yesterday (at long last).
Lots of sun, gentle breezes, lower temperatures and humidity, and NO RAIN!
It was the best of times......and the best of times.
Today? Predicted to be a repeat, before a slightly higher of chance of precipitation arrives for the weekend.
Our present thermometer reading is crisp, low humidity 60 degrees, here.

We made it through another week. Typical day of work today and not too many plans for the weekend. I am going to take my youngest daughter tonight to get school supplies and Sunday we are going to the beach. I am off on Monday so looking forward to the long weekend.

Today was "National Walk To School Day" ~ we had all kinds of kids walking down the sidewalk. 4 Sherriff's in town. When I saw all the cops I thought "what in the world is going on???" LOL! Then I heard what it was all about! Whew!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

As other are noting, it's a beautifully cooler day! The humidity is much lower, and it's still not even 80°! Elizabeth is singing the National Anthem at the football game tonight, so we're going to the game. It'll really feel like fall with the lights on, and the cooler temperatures!

I'm not fooling myself; next week, it will be back into the 90's and the humidity will be back at 100%, but until then...WOOHOO!

We're taking a co-worker out to lunch for his birthday today. I hope y'all have a great day!

Good luck to Elizabeth tonight! How awesome for her! Enjoy your weather, lunch with your co-workers (Happy Birthday to him!) And have a great weekend!
