Tomorrow is meet the teacher day at Carolinas school. Her nursery school is located at our church so she knows the teacher already. This will give her a chance to see the classroom and meet some kids in her clas. Then we will have lunch with my best friend
If you your prayer was answered, sooner, or later, you would be looking for a three day week. Then there's the small matter of reduced compensation for less output....Annoying, pesky details...
Well, maybe so and yet maybe not!
But, for me personally, I would definitely take working 4 10's over 5 8's, any day of the week, just so as I could have more overall (whole) days at home with my family.

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!
Today is Jacob's 21st birthday! I wish he was more excited about it, but his girlfriend broke up with him yesterday, and he's terribly sad. She could have waited a couple days so he could enjoy this birthday. Oh well. C'est la vie. We're taking him out to eat with the whole family tonight.
My back is feeling better today. Whew! I must be getting old or something!

Awwww man, that's a bigtime bummer for Jacob and just before his Birthday too! I feel bad for him. I hope he does have a nice birthday and that he can enjoy the time spent with his family who loves him so much.
Sorry to hear the news of your oldest daughters fiancés grandfather has passed away.
I heard ya about that. I was outside and also in the garage working this afternoon and it seemed like no matter how much water I drank, it was coming right back out of me all over my body. Brutally, hot and humid out there.
After I got done putting my brand new grille together, I went in the house, stripped out of those wet clothes and tool a nice cool shower and then I stretched out across the bed with the ac blowing on me. Felt wonderful!

I took off work today due to an odd check engine light, came on in my truck and so I took it to the dealer. Apparently, the truck needed a computer software upgrade that was supposed to of been done in 2012. So, I did that and while it was there, I got the oil changed (15 quarts), oil filter, fuel filters replaced and transmission oil and filter changed too! But, I was back at the house by 1 and then I spent the rest of the afternoon outside and in the garage putting together a new grill for the back deck. I have not had a grille or have grilled since 2015, and I so much missed not having one. This weekend, we are going to seriously break that bad boy in!

Morning MMC! It's a September Sweatfest here. The cooldown begins on Friday though but then we have some cloudy and wet weather too expected. September is such a transition month. Tonight we have the NFL starting up. If you're a football fan you understand how important that is. Have a great Friday Eve!

It’s goimg to be hot and humid today, chance of a thunderstorm later tonight. I will be heading to my youngest daughters apartment this morning, her living room furniture is being delivered and I would like to be there with her. Hopefully they’ll show up on the earlier end of the time frame they gave her and not later so I can get back home to work on some chores around the house. We also have to attend the wake this evening.

Good Morning .. Well my kids started school today ... I now have a senior and a 7th grader and I am still trying to wrap my head around my daughter being a senior. I can still remember when she was starting 7th grade and now my son is in 7th grade. 
Hubby and I are going to go do some window shopping and maybe of we are lucky pick up a couple more gifts for Christmas.
