Good Morning, Delightedly Devoted Double, Double-Digit Dancers!

Yes, sir!
We are dancing to a whole new tune this morning, set in double time.

Here is the exciting data, to launch a new week:
Days to the Season: 57
Days to Christmas Day: 99

And the eyes do not deceive.
BOTH of our counts now number in double-digits and we have indeed begun to enter the fast track to the holidays.
(Heck. The Blossoms thread will be launching in less than two weeks, now!)

The very wet conditions continued for another day yesterday as the tropical depression slowly moved west through SC, sending repeated rain showers our way.
Possibly another wet one today before clearing begins in earnest tomorrow.
We commence things quite damp here this morning, at 74 degrees.

Good Monday morning! Summer heat and humidity are still hanging on for a couple more days. As much as I love Summer, I'm ready for Fall now. Some sections of some trees have started changing colours already. I'm taking it easy this morning as I'm starting back work with an afternoon/evening shift. I always dread going back to work after a vacation, I know most of my work will have piled up and there are always surprises, not all of them good. Hope everyone will have a wonderful start to the week!

57 days! 99 days! Woohoo! This is my favorite time of the year!

Unfortunately, Iowa hasn't gotten the message yet. We had some cool days in early Sept. but the heat and humidity came back with a vengeance. The weather says we will be upper 80's to 90 degrees over the next few days. It's been that way most of last week. :-( Well, I'm going to go listen to some Christmas music I think. I hope everyone is well and everyone near the hurricane/tropical storm stay safe!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It was a weekend full of The Addams Family Musical for us, and it was another great show! The cast never missed a beat. The acting, singing, and (of course) dancing was superb! Elizabeth did a wonderful job choreographing the dancing, and she's already been asked to choreograph the next one LOL.

We got a little wind and a little rain from Florence, but mostly just overcast skies.

Good Morning, MMC!! It’s going to be a warm week here but I’m not going to let that ruin my holiday spirit. I’m going to try and get out and add some photos to my stash for when the blossoms thread opens. But first, a haircut for me and doctors appointment for Mom is on the agenda for today. Happy Monday ... I had such a busy weekend that I came to work just so I could sit down and relax a bit LOL. Hubby and I did a bit of shopping Friday night and picked up a couple more Christmas gifts for the kids then we picked 45 lbs of apples Saturday morning. I already turned half of those apples into applesauce and canned for the winter. The rest will be for eating and to make a batch of apple butter later this week. Need to go back for more apples for pie filling soon and as if all that time in the kitchen wasn't enough I made a roasted turkey breast for dinner yesterday and baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies last night. The house started to smell like the holidays .. it was wonderful. Hope everyone has a great day.

Thank you! The dr felt they were healed quite enough so we are going back Thursday am before school to have them taking out. I was really looking forward to washing her hair finally but it looks like dry shampoo again since they don't want us touching the area where the staples are.

Good morning MMC! "Merry Monday!" After being off the last 3 Mondays, I keep thinking today is Tuesday. Could be a long week!!!

I was with Mom Friday at 5pm until Saturday at 8am - and then again yesterday from 8:30 am until almost 9am today!! She sure can be a challenge! Bless her heart! We had a few feuds! Yesterday she went down on the floor - she didn't fall, but I had to ease her down...had to call my hubby to come help me pick her up off the floor!! She's a piece of work! Needed a little down time at home this morning b/f coming into work!!

We have 3 busy bodies & 1 supervisor (my hubby) working on our driveway today. Hopefully they can get it poured later this afternoon!! What a mess! My whole kitchen floor/hallway/bathroom has a layer of sand on it! But it's progress!!

She really is being cute through this whole process. She just has a different look on her face. I don't think she quite gets what's going on. Sweet pea!!! Although I had another name for her over the weekend when she was all fired up & trying to play/bite her mama!! LOL!!!

Our friends Dad fell off a ladder this weekend trying to pick apples - he has to go for an MRI! Hopefully he will be ok. Anyway, our friend & her sisters went & picked all the apples & we ended up with a BIG box full!!! Not sure what I'm going to do with them! Yikes!

Thanks SFM!! They had the garage poured & they were busing up the neighbors driveway...hopefully they can get it in yet today. We'll see! My hubby is having a blast!!! He loves this stuff. LOL

We have mid 80's all week with the lowest low being Friday at 59º! Most nights have a low of 65-70º!
