Good afternoon .. we broke down a bought a new Halloween inflatable last night even though I am swearing off buying any more but it Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas and our daughter LOVES him so it was more for her LOL... Also saw that Walmart is filling up the Lawn and Garden Center with a CHRISTMAS!! Saw a few things we want, will get some before Christmas like Metal Christmas Luminaries for the front porch steps and will try to get the more expensive stuff that day after Christmas. Rainy and chilly day here today .. got a roast in the crock pot and plan on making an apple crisp for dessert later. Love Fall!

Days to the Season: 51
Days to Christmas Day: 93

The day after tomorrow.
That is when we will arrive at the THREE-QUARTER marker to Christmas Day 2018, after which we will really start closing on our beloved Christmas Season!

Reasonably nice here yesterday, albeit a tad on the warm side.
Today should be noticeably cooler (highs in the 70's) but with a pretty good shot at precipitation.
Pat II of our weekend has begun here in central North Carolina at 70 degrees.

Have a Super Sunday, Folks.
And may your NFL team of choice prevail this afternoon.
(Unless it is the Bengals, that is. They are playing our Panthers!)

I hope everyone is having a great day! Earlier this week I broke out one of my Christmas book series to start reading in anticipation for the authors next Winter trilogy to come out. I just finished Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand and am starting Winter Stroll. Her next Winter series book is released October 9th I believe.

Love Elin Hilderbrand books! So excited to see there is a new one soon!

I hope everyone had a great day! It's chilly and rainy tonight. I am relaxing with a book and a blanket. We went to Barnes and Noble tonight since it was 20% off weekend for memebers. They were already starting to set up tables for the little boxed calendars. They had a few tables of scary books out but nothing really stood out for us to buy. The last trip there I spent close to $50 mostly on books for Carolina.

Good evening all.

The little league game was great. We won 20-0! Henry made a couple of big tackles in the game and played well as QB too. The team is 3-1 with one regular season game to go. We had one cancelled due to the big rain we had a couple of weeks ago. Then the playoffs start. Every team plays in the first round, win and you keep going, lose and the season is over.

Aside from coaching Henry's team this year I have been helping with the high school football team. So, this fall has been a little extra busy. But lots of fun.

Happy 3 months till Christmas Eve MMC! That just sounds not possible but it is. Did good in my work football league and won the "prize" so I'm happy about that. Had a long hike Saturday and got lost with my friend. Was aching Sunday lol. Have a great start to the last week of September!

Good Monday morning! I'm thankful to have the day off after such a busy weekend at work and a bad night's sleep. David and I were sound asleep when he got a text message from his boss asking him for help in translating something to English (nothing work related). It was only 9:30pm, no big deal, but I couldn't fall back asleep after that and wound up going back to bed at 12:30am only and getting up at 6am as usual. I will just relax and propably have a nap later today. David has an appointment with a surgeon this morning to determine if he will have to have an operation to repair the torn ligaments in his shoulder. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he won't need it. Have a great day everyone!

Merry Monday!
It’s going to be cloudy with chance of a shower later in the day and a high of 67 degrees. Not too much going on here. I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes before I get started on cooking breakfast. I need to make a Target run at some point. I want to stop at Michael’s as well to pick up a couple of things for the bridal shower. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. That’s about it. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!!!
