Christmas Countdown - 2018

I worked all this morning and stopped at urgent care on the way home. I felt like I was getting an ear infection or a sinus infection. They say it's only a viral sinus infection and I only need nasal spray. If I am not feeling better by the start of next week I am going to go back because I will be really upset of o do end up having an ear infection. Hope everyone has a great rest of the day

Thank you! Carolina has me on the couch wrapped up in a blanket. No fever so I can go to work tomorrow. I have only ever called out of work 2 times since Carolina has been born and I hated doing it so I'm glad I can work tomorrow

Happy Halloween Week MMC! It's a big week. This is always a week I love because we have Halloween & November comes! When November hits everything seems to change even more than when September comes. Going to see the new Halloween movie tonight after work. I can't wait. Have a great day!

Merry Monday!
It’s going to be cloudy today with chance of showers, temperatures in the mid 50’s. Hopefully the rain isn’t too bad and I can squeeze a couple of walks in with Rocky, he certainly needs to burn off some of that puppy energy every day. I don’t have too much going on here. I need to do some food shopping at some point. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. And my mother is coming to visit later this afternoon. Dinner will be Italian Wedding Soup, a tossed salad and garlic bread. I guess that’s it. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!!!

Back from Florida after a nice visit with family, albeit for a sad occasion.

Let's look at the newest numbers, to begin this exciting week which contains a very special day:
Days to Halloween: 2 (THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, FOLKS!!)
Days to the Season: 15 (TWO WEEKS from TOMORROW!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 57 (Eight weeks from tomorrow!)
Halloween is a scant couple of days away, now. We are so closing in on the holidays!
(And, of course, it will fall on 'Pines Day!)

It was quite pleasant weather-wise for our trip to Florida. Warm, but the humidity was way down and it was really quite comfortable.
Rather chilly back here in Raleigh when we returned and this morning is starting out coolish at 48 degrees, but bound for the mid 60's by this afternoon.

Good Monday morning! Another cloudy/rainy day but temperatures are not as cold. I’ll be working the afternoon/evening shift today so for now, I’m just browsing online for all things Christmas while listening to Pentatonix’s latest Christmas album. A lot more traditional songs on this one but with their own twist, I really like it. I’m a sucker for good harmonies. I’ll need to update my playlist to add these songs. Hope everyone is well and enjoys a great start to the week.

Morning ... never made it the halloween parade lastnight. Between the weather and me not feeling to good we stayed home. Nor sure if my allergies kicked into over drive or if I am coming down with a cold. Took some cold/allergy meds and I feel pretty good now. Got a batch of ribs on the crock pot and a batch in the oven Will freeze some ribs into single serve lunch sizes and the rest is for dinner Heading to a local farm stand after lunch as today is their last day of the year and they have everything marked down.
