Good November first morning, Christmas friends!

As expected, we were swamped with trick-or-treaters last night. Nancy stayed in the hospital with her mother last night (she's improving), so Elizabeth and I handed out candy. So many little girls in princess costumes asked Elizabeth if she was Ariel!! They were in just in awe of being that close to the Ariel they saw on stage in July. So cute!

Off to my daily meeting. I hope y'all have a great day!

Good morning and Happy November! I’m heading to bed - it was a crazy last couple of hours for my shift and again makes me thankful for everything I have. I’ll stop back in later, but just wanted to wish you all a great day!

Sugar, So, is it true, about what they say about a hospital ER. That on full moons and Halloween, all the fruitcakes and crazies come out with a vengeance and the ER's get overwhelmed to the point where they have to divert to other hospitals?

Happy November 1st!!!! Kids had a blast last night trick or treating. We only had 6 kids show up at out house despite there being a ton of kids walking around the neighborhood. I think it's because we are on a dead end street and were the only house out of 4 that was giving out candy. Thankfully I only bought 3 bags of candy. This weekend we are suppose to take down the Halloween decoration and put up the rest of the fall decorations long with our Thanksgiving decorations but maybe we can get it down tonight. Gotta see how DH feels when he gets home first. Have a great day!

Gloomy day out, but no rain as of yet. My allergies have been very bothersome the past few weeks and today is no different as I have a sore and scratchy throat. Off to make a cup of tea with lemon and ginger.

I did the quick scan of the Countdown, but wanted all of you to know you and your families are in my prayers!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve. A wet/cold morning it is! We have weather advisories out for flooding across the roadways. Lots of water out there. I think the maple tree in our front yard went from green to yellow over night!
Just work at both places for me today. All the big wigs are here (at my old job) now - from the new place & the old, discussing the transaction. It's going to be a bumpy ride!!

We went out to eat Mexican with the family last night. Delicious as always! Then I watched Garfield Halloween!

Yes, it is true! But...our hospital doesn’t divert. Sometimes I wish we did, to cut down on the wait time for people, but yes, it is amazing what the weather and such will do to people!

Good evening! Kids got home this afternoon with their report card. Both got straight A’s again. They make me so proud! I head to work here at 7, work 12 hours, then I’m off for 4 days. I’m really looking forward to the weekend!

A sad day here in my area - a 7 yo boy was involved in a hit and run while he was waiting for the school bus this am. The bus driver found him at pick-up, fatally injured. The incident that happened the other day in Indiana made me sick, but I have no words for this, considering the person just kept driving and that it is so close. Hold your kids, grandkids, pets, whomever close and give them lots of love! You never just know. May God be with his family and the first responders.

Sounds adorable!! My friends grandkids went as an old man & an old lady - he's 1 1/2 & she's 6 months - he was pushing her in the stroller & she had gray hair & silver wire glasses & he was bald with a cane. Too cute!

Oh gosh, that is so terrible of a thing to hear. I hope they catch that person and punish them to the full extent of the law.
