Happy November!
I hope everyone had a Merry Halloween. We had about a dozen trick or treaters. We get less and less each year, I don’t understand why it so different now. When my kids were younger we had herds of kids walking around the neighborhood. Anyway, I don’t have too much going on. I have to run a couple of quick errands and then I’ll be working on the laundry. I plan on taking it easy after that, my husband has a cold and I feel like I’m getting sick now. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve. A wet/cold morning it is! We have weather advisories out for flooding across the roadways. Lots of water out there. I think the maple tree in our front yard went from green to yellow over night!
Just work at both places for me today. All the big wigs are here (at my old job) now - from the new place & the old, discussing the transaction. It's going to be a bumpy ride!!

We went out to eat Mexican with the family last night. Delicious as always! Then I watched Garfield Halloween!

Its supposed to rain all day in South Jersey tomorrow too...and of course it's my day off

Happy November 1st!!!! Kids had a blast last night trick or treating. We only had 6 kids show up at out house despite there being a ton of kids walking around the neighborhood. I think it's because we are on a dead end street and were the only house out of 4 that was giving out candy. Thankfully I only bought 3 bags of candy. This weekend we are suppose to take down the Halloween decoration and put up the rest of the fall decorations long with our Thanksgiving decorations but maybe we can get it down tonight. Gotta see how DH feels when he gets home first. Have a great day!

I'm glad your kids had fun trick or treating! My mom had the Halloween decorations down before she went to work at 815 this morning. She only has a few Thanksgiving decorations and they are out already too

Gloomy day out, but no rain as of yet. My allergies have been very bothersome the past few weeks and today is no different as I have a sore and scratchy throat. Off to make a cup of tea with lemon and ginger.

Good evening! Kids got home this afternoon with their report card. Both got straight A’s again. They make me so proud! I head to work here at 7, work 12 hours, then I’m off for 4 days. I’m really looking forward to the weekend!

A sad day here in my area - a 7 yo boy was involved in a hit and run while he was waiting for the school bus this am. The bus driver found him at pick-up, fatally injured. The incident that happened the other day in Indiana made me sick, but I have no words for this, considering the person just kept driving and that it is so close. Hold your kids, grandkids, pets, whomever close and give them lots of love! You never just know. May God be with his family and the first responders.

I worked today and Carolina played with the neighbor out back. At work we started to put out Christmas. Because of the Halloween Clearance we only have room for candy so far.
Mike has to work overtime tonight and tomorrow night so it will be quiet nights of Hallmark movies and bed early if I want to.
Tomorrow I am off and it sis supposed to rain. Carolina will probably play with all her toys and I will catch up on laundry. The last batch I forgot in the dryer for 2 days so my mom helped me out and folded it for me. Have a great night everyone!

Morning MMC! Happy Friday and TGIF! Hope you all have a good week. It's been another busy one here. Looking forward to a mostly relaxing weekend (although side note: I've been taking work home the last several weekends to catch up on things). Happy Friday all. The rain continues today and I think it will be going on for at least another day. Finished some baking for an Arts and Crafts show on the weekend. I made some chocolate zucchini loaf, chocolate chip pumpkin loaf, regular pumpkin loaf, and some M&M brownies. If I have time I'll make something else tonight. Then fruit salad for 100 for Sunday for a church function.

The church had a little water damage recently and the insurance people finally showed up to repair the damage done in the kitchen. Unfortunately, when they took up the floor, they found black mold. So, that needs to be taken care of. Not to worry though, everyone's safe and it just pushed the timeline back a few days. Everything else will be moved to the hall instead.

TGIF...merry Friday!! Looks like we are going to have rain today and tomm morning. Not too many plans for the weekend. My daughter has basketball practice tonight and my oldest daughter and I are headed back to Apple tonight. We were just there on Monday, they fixed it and now the phone is having the same issue, it can only connect to Wifi and no data. I guess it is a know problem with the iphone 7.
