Hey. Not many more weekends left before the commencement of Christmas Season 2108. In fact, counting this one there are only TWO.

Not many more days left either.
Let's check the numbers to confirm:
Days to the Season: 10 (SINGLE DIGITS from TOMORROW!!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 19 (Into the TEENS!)
Days to Christmas Day: 52 (Now UNDER 7 1/2 weeks!)
(Better start getting serious about those holiday plans!)

Last warm day yesterday and it came with a touch of rain and some wind.
Today will be cooler and it will be chilly tonight, with a predicted low of 40 degrees.
This first morning of the next-to-the-last weekend before the Season arrives has begun at 52 degrees here in the capital county.

What a super-lousy day it has been ... so many things going wrong. Very glad to be home with Mr. with pizza on the table shortly. Friday night pizza should cure a raft of ills.

This morning we woke up to a loud boom. Most of the neighborhood lost power.we are on a different grid so it doesn't affect us thankfully. Most of the leAves we raked for my dad blew down the street too.

Good morning, my fun-loving Christmas friends! Sitting here with it being a balmy 41 degrees outside. Drinking coffee, reading the boards and a book, and watching a little college football gameday.

The girls, my Mom, Doc, and I all went out to eat last night. Doc and I had to run to Target because we had a 25% off coupon apiece to use! What do we use them on?

A 5 foot princess house and a furbaby Chewbacca.

The first gifts of the season have been purchased!

It wasn't a life-changing catastrophe (thank goodness). Just a day with a lot of lousy things happening. A long, seemingly unending string of lousy things ... frustration everywhere I turned. It included being locked out of the office when I rushed back there from an offsite meeting to work on two rush jobs that were being sent to me (my key fob, which worked fine in the morning, refused to open the door), plus missing the offsite (which included training for a new software platform we're transitioning to), missing lunch, and dealing with a bank snafu. The weekend is already an improvement!

Good evening, MMC! We just finally got home from shopping. I spent a little more money than I planned for today, but I got a lot of the Christmas shopping done, got a few more decorations, and got all of our new ornaments. I’m just laying in bed now with a glass of wine and the dog, watching Hallmark.

Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day! We get to go meet our new puppy. We’ll be bringing here home next weekend. I’m over the moon excited!

Good Saturday morning! This really has been a Fall week, nothing but rain. It's supposed to clear up tomorrow. Today will be all about chores, laundry and grocery shopping. Maybe by mid-afternoon we'll be able to relax some and catch up on the dvr. Tonight we eat out with David's parents as it was his father's birthday last weekend but I was working and couldn't do much. Hope everyone will have a fantastic day!

Merry Saturday ~
It’s a cloudy, dreary morning here, I’m just having my coffee and relaxing. I’m feeling a tiny bit better today, hopefully this cold will pass quickly. I don’t have too much going on, I already straightened up and started laundry. I’m going to make a pot of chicken soup for dinner. There’s a hockey game on tonight and there are a couple of shows I want to catch up on, if I could stay awake. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!

Happy Saturday, MMC!!!! It's a beautiful day here in central Indy. I ran to 2 craft fairs this morning. I didn't buy much but got some fudge, brownies, cookies, and a few small gifts. Then I swung by the library to vote and went to my aunts house to play with Ella for a bit. Now I'm ready to kick back and watch some Hallmark while getting a few things done around here. I hope everyone is having a great day!!!!!!!!!!!
