Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good Morning, my Seasonal Friends!
Indeed.
We are now into and moving through Christmas Season 2018, and yours truly has already listened to two Christmas music albums.

But the count goes on.
And we are also rapidly approaching a Milestone marker!

Nope. One remains. Details to follow the count numbers.

Days to Thanksgiving: 8 (ONE WEEK FROM TOMORROW!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 41 (Now UNDER 6 weeks!)

And that last Milestone?
Well, it's the 90 percent, Home Stretch point to Christmas Day, and it will be arriving in just FOUR days. Barely over HALF a week's time!
(Folks, the excitement is not over yet!)

A bit warmer yesterday, and after a morning rain we settled in to calm conditions in the afternoon.
Today has begun at 46 degrees. It's still quite soggy, but it is supposed to dry out by this afternoon. Temps will hold in the 40's, owever.
Tomorrow will see 40's again, but also the return of precipitation.

Good morning and Happy Pines Day! Just getting breakfast for the kids and getting them off to school. Not much planned for today. DH works night shift, so we’ll spend some time together, lounging around and maybe get some more shopping done. I work tonight as well. I’ve got to go in at 8. I have training for our new cath lab that is coming soon and then work 11-7, so I’ll probably try and catch a nap this afternoon.

Happy Wednesday!! Just regular work day for me and need to run to the grocery store later. They are saying maybe 2-5 inches of snow tomorrow...I think the kids may have a delay on Friday..we'll see! Hope you all have a great day!

Happy Pines Day, MMC!! It’s going to be a chilly one here but at least it’s going to be a calm one compared to what’s on the way tomorrow. Just a few errands to run this morning and then mom has PT this afternoon. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Today is a quiet day. This morning we will run to Walmart. This afternoon we will rake more leaves to help my dad since leaf collection is this weekend. Tonight Carolina has Kids klubs at church. Have a great day

SFM and I are in the same neck of the woods, I guess a few miles from each other so, we are pretty much at the same snowfall amount.

I agree, it's that ice stuff, they're yapping about, that I do not like or want... bad things happen when it starts coming down and we all know, that people behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, drive like they lost they're minds on a good day. Just imagine how they are when ice or snow is on the roads....

Amen to that! This will be our first winter at the new house, oh, this is going to be interesting. My driveway is like 300 feet long and its all downhill to my house.... Wheeeeee!!!!

I'm starting to get anxious about it, as it may start before I leave work tomorrow. It's tough to decide whether to go home via a 2-lane road with fewer cars but less plowing/salt, or to go via the highway where it's better plowed and salted, but there are more nuts driving like it's a sunny day who could skid into me. Winter is okay, but winter driving sets me on edge.

LOL!!!! Let's see, between Maryland and Connecticut drivers, whooo, it's a toss up there, especially when you near a big city or on a main road and, to top it off, it's someone driving a SUV and they drive like their wearing a superman cape!

It's tough to decide whether to go home via a 2-lane road with fewer cars but less plowing/salt, or to go via the highway where it's better plowed and salted, but there are more nuts driving like it's a sunny day who could skid into me. I agree 100% with you! I get nervous too. I pray for safe travel for you and that you guys don’t get hit too hard!
