I’m glad to hear that Meceka, my day is going well too!
My parents are good! My father was feeling pretty well today and he was in good spirits. We’re going to make a couple of phone calls tomorrow, he still needs to follow up with a couple of doctor appointments. Thank you so much for asking <3

Good Monday morning! Some random snowflakes falling right now, it looks peaceful. I has a bad night's sleep, full of crazy dreams that prevented me from truly resting. So I'll take it easy today and watch some Christmas specials that I recorded. I'll also edit my Christmas playlist and write down a list of ingredients that I need to get to try some new baking recipes this week. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day ahead.

Happy Thanksgiving Week!

Another cold, dark, rainy day, and it just about suits my mood. I'm tired out and overwhelmed by Christmas projects that have to be finished to make room for others coming up; time is running short, but the to-do list keeps getting longer. Then Mr. rear-ended a car that stopped short in front of him on an on-ramp last night, so now we have to deal with insurance and repairs. Just need a little strength and energy so I can keep going and enjoy Thanksgiving week as best I can.

Happy Thanksgiving week! A very long time viewer making his first post here. I decided to try and join in this weekend to pass the long doldrums of spring and summer that will soon be upon us. I believe I know everyone from 3 years of viewing daily.

Still lots of snow on the ground here in northern MI, and very cold temps forecasted for the next few days. A high of only 14 for Thanksgiving Eve. Brrrrr!

But after that, multiple days of highs in the 40s, so it will be an interesting mess here next week. However, the Christmas Season will be in full vigor by that time, so that makes up for it

Good afternoon everyone! Hope everyone is well. We had planned to go to my parents house on Thursday (a 6 hour roundtrip) and take them a Thanksgiving meal since my father is ill and my mom doesn't have the time to cook but my sister's in-laws (who live 10 minutes away from my parents) already planned to send them a meal for Thanksgiving. That is so nice of them. They are the nicest people. So, my husband and I are going to visit my parents tomorrow instead of Thursday for a visit. I have pumpkin bread, nut bread, and cookies to take up for them. I have been busy baking! So, this means my husband and I will have our traditional thanksgiving meal at home. I took the turkey out today to defrost. We worked on outside lights last night and will finish them today. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Today and tomorrow are just busy work days for me. Tomorrow is Carolina's Thanksgiving feast at school. They have pancakes and applesauce and juice. 2 of the classes are Pilgrims and the other classes are Indians. Wednesday I am off so I am sure I will be doing lots of running around for my mom while she is in work

Good evening all. Just got home from parent-teacher conferences. It was such a cluster and we waited for DD’s teachers for 2 hours, but we got an excellent report on both of the kids and I’m just glad to be home.
