Very sorry about your wife's ankle injury. I have known a few people who broke their ankles in the past few years and it's never an easy process. And I hope your sweet dog is going to do well at the vet all day. Is that him in the picture? He looks so adorable. Sending positive thoughts for your wife and your fur baby.

Sorry to hear about your wife. My MIL went through an identical situation a year ago. She recovered very well from it and has had no issues since. Sending prayers for your wife and hope your pup is ok!

Morning tbutler. One of ours just had to go through a long Vet visit last week. Riley bounced back fairly quick (he is ten now) and was back to his usual self, whatever that is since he mostly sits and stares and makes you figure out what he wants, by the next day.
Hope your comes out of it just as quickly...

I'm sorry your family is having such a rough go. Sending prayers for all of you.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. Yesterday went about as well as we could expect.

Oliver spent all day at the vet. The doctor told us he did very well. However, he was sure out of it! Didn’t want to do anything except lie around all evening and snooze. This morning when I got up for work, he was more his old self. Now comes the two months trying to keep him settled down and as inactive as possible. Can’t wait until it’s over.

My dear wife is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30! We didn’t expect it so soon. However, the doctor said the swelling has gone down enough, and let’s get it over with. He said her prognosis is great, but it will take time. No weight bearing for 2 to 3 months. Then physical therapy. However, he did say she would be running in the Turkey Trot this Thanksgiving! Another reason to watch the Thanksgiving countdown!!!

Aw, I'm glad that Oliver did well! Prayers going up for your wife and for you and Oliver, too.

Praying for a speedy recovery for your wife and Oliver.

Good evening everyone! I have a sick family member right now so I haven't been able to be on here much but I just wanted to wish everyone an early Happy Super Bowl weekend!

Ditto here. Two sick kids. I pray it isn't the flu. Take care everyone

Morning MMC. Good February to everyone. Looks like we will see a little rain and snow later today into tonight. Hard to believe we won't see January again until after another holiday season. Anyway, just have a lot to do at work today and then home to rest. Hope you all enjoy your day!

Good Morning, MMC Citizens.
Rise and salute the red and green flag of Christmas!

We continue to advance (there is no retreat, of course!).
So onward and forward to our next set of count numbers:
Days to the Season: 285
Days to Christmas Day: 327

We also continue our advance on the next Milestone marker of the 2018 Countdown season. It's number two on our chart and it's the 1/4 point to the Season.
The location of this marker is just eleven days ahead.
(That's SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow, Guys!)

We had a chilly day yesterday, but not truly cold, to round out January 2018.
This new month has also started out coldish, at 39 degrees but we are predicted to reach the low 60's by this afternoon, with plenty of sun.
The respite will be short-lived however, as chilly weather will return for tomorrow.

Well, I hope you have a Particularly Perfect Post-'Pines day.
A Totally Thrilling Thursday, as well.
(And, while we're at it, a Fully Fantastic February, too!)

Yikes! Today?!

Sending prayers, my friend!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!

Not much going on here today except work...oh ya...and celebrating my wonderful mama's 89th birthday!! :D (actually we're not celebrating until Sunday but I'm guessing she will get a lot of visitors & calls today - including me!!) I hope she has a better morning than she has been having this week. xx

So far we have a dreary day. We're supposed to have a high of 37 & then the temps are supposed to drop through the day to 25, with a low of 13 tonight. It's currently 36! Cold enough! LOL!

Everyone, have a great day!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

One month closer to The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I didn't do much yesterday afternoon beyond walking around the block a couple times. Nancy finally got past her W-2 deadline, and came home at a decent time. The night before, she got home at 2am, then went back to work yesterday at 8am. That's crazy talk! Ah, the exciting life of public accounting.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Happy Birthday to your Mom!! I hope she has a wonderful day!
Stay warm!

Thank you both!
I ordered a doggy car seat that straps on to the console in between the seats. It’s cute, can’t wait to get it :)

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the day!!!
Awesome! Lucy blocks my view when she tries to sit on that console! ;) I don't think you have to worry about that with Rocky! LOL

Prayers for you & your wife & her doctors this morning!!! I hope the surgery goes well & it's a huge success. Speedy recovery wishes for her!
And for Oliver!
You have a couple trying months ahead, huh? Hope it all goes better than expected!!

Happy February!
Last night my oldest daughter was at basketball practice, jumped up and landed on her ankle wrong. She can barely put any weight on it so I am bringing her to the urgent ortho walk in this morning. I am praying it is not broken. It is always something...lol but we will get through it..
Hope you all have a great day!
