Congrats to everyone for surviving another January! It only gets better from here. February isn't tons of fun, but it's actually already halfway to August(hard to believe) and hey it's only 4 weeks long so that's not so bad.

Never thought of it that way - half way back to August!!! WOW! Not ready for that yet. LOL!!!

Good evening everyone! I have a sick family member right now so I haven't been able to be on here much but I just wanted to wish everyone an early Happy Super Bowl weekend!

Morning MMC. Good February to everyone. Looks like we will see a little rain and snow later today into tonight. Hard to believe we won't see January again until after another holiday season. Anyway, just have a lot to do at work today and then home to rest. Hope you all enjoy your day!

Last night my oldest daughter was at basketball practice, jumped up and landed on her ankle wrong. She can barely put any weight on it so I am bringing her to the urgent ortho walk in this morning. I am praying it is not broken. It is always something...lol but we will get through it..

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!

Not much going on here today except work...oh ya...and celebrating my wonderful mama's 89th birthday!! (actually we're not celebrating until Sunday but I'm guessing she will get a lot of visitors & calls today - including me!!) I hope she has a better morning than she has been having this week. xx

So far we have a dreary day. We're supposed to have a high of 37 & then the temps are supposed to drop through the day to 25, with a low of 13 tonight. It's currently 36! Cold enough! LOL!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

One month closer to The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I didn't do much yesterday afternoon beyond walking around the block a couple times. Nancy finally got past her W-2 deadline, and came home at a decent time. The night before, she got home at 2am, then went back to work yesterday at 8am. That's crazy talk! Ah, the exciting life of public accounting.

My aunt got all of her W2’s printed and mailed out. Then realized that the SSN’s were in the wrong box yesterday. So she was having to go in early this morning to run them all again. She wasn’t very happy. Lol!!!

We continue to advance (there is no retreat, of course!).
So onward and forward to our next set of count numbers:
Days to the Season: 285
Days to Christmas Day: 327

We also continue our advance on the next Milestone marker of the 2018 Countdown season. It's number two on our chart and it's the 1/4 point to the Season.
The location of this marker is just eleven days ahead.
(That's SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow, Guys!)


We had a chilly day yesterday, but not truly cold, to round out January 2018.
This new month has also started out coldish, at 39 degrees but we are predicted to reach the low 60's by this afternoon, with plenty of sun.
The respite will be short-lived however, as chilly weather will return for tomorrow.

Well, I hope you have a Particularly Perfect Post-'Pines day.

Hi Edge & everyone else here! This is Jason back with a silly name. I had all kinds of problems logging in here the last two weeks. I tried 4 different devices, tried to turn off firewalls and can't seem to receive emails from this site. Everything else seems to work on my computer. Did you report a problem with your main account to Jeff? He is good at fixing issues with accounts. If you are not getting email notifications did you check your spam blocker in your email account to make sure they were not accidently blocked. If this is the account you are going to use then you need to see about getting the other disabled or deleted.

Well I decided that I needed some pimento cheese spread and bacon and onion dip for Sunday while I’m watching the game. So I headed Holiday’s way and went to the Amish store over on the Ohio border. Between the pot holes and the wind, that was not the fun leisurely drive that it normally is. I got enough goodies to make it worth it though. Now to see if I can get my eyes to stop bouncing.

Sounds like you need to make a hoagie dip too
