Good morning ~
Merry Monday!
I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. I have the local news on and they’re talking about more snow heading our way this week. I really wish the temperatures would warm up, I still haven’t been taking Rocky out in this chilly weather. Not too much going on here today, just a typical day of errands and chores. My youngest is off today and we’re going to grab Chipotle for lunch. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful day and a great week ahead!!!

Well, I’m sitting here this morning, drinking my coffee, playing pretend, that I am the weather person, trying to figure out, and guess, to what the next computer models will show every time they are ran. While, simultaneously pulling the petals from a flower saying, “it’s going to snow, it’s not going to snow, it’s going to snow, it’s not going to snow,......”!

Anybody got a quarter?

Truthfully, I feel for them, the weather makes them look bad a lot. You couldn’t pay me enough money, to be in their shoes, to try and figure out and interrupte those computer models.

Good Morning, New-Weekers!

And new weeks, like new days, come with new count figures.

Here are the latest:
Days to the Season: 239
Days to Christmas Day: 281

And in confimation of the latest rumors, we can be confident that our next Milestone marker, number FIVE on our list, will arrive precisely ONE WEEK from today, that marker being the 1/4 point to Christmas Day 2018.
(Is it just me, or does every year seem to pass by faster than the one preceding it?)

A real nice day yesterday to close out the final weekend of winter here in North Carolina. Plenty of sun, no rain despite morning clouds, and temperatures in the 60's. (Would that all of winter after Christmas could be thus!)
Our current reading is 46 degrees, here.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everybody!
I hope you have a great week ahead.

Thanks, Bing. That gave me a lift to make up for the lost sleep!
(Carl, as usual, is delighted about opening the opera. That camel!)

Thanks Crown! Have a great last day of winter!

Good morning. How did the calendar turn back to Monday so soon??
Alexa told me this morning that this is the last full day of winter & it's time to put my snowmen away. LOL! How did she know I still have my snowmen up?? :p :D
It was a sad weekend around here. We lost a truly great guy in a car accident. 40 years old, father to 3, teacher at an alternative school who was really having an influence on these troubled kids. So, so sad! :( Despite that terrible news the rest of the weekend was nice - spent with friends. We had a UPS retirement party yesterday. The weekend just goes too fast!
Mom fell yesterday, but thankfully she's fine! What a weekend!

I hope you all had a Happy St. Patrick's Day weekend!

That kind of loss is never really gone, but I hope you can celebrate their lives!
Thanks Brad! That's what we have to do! They don't want us to be sad! :)

TGIF, Christmas friends!

I've spent half my morning trying to sell & collect money for spaghetti plates that our church is selling to support our area cancer patient support charity. I wound up having to buy 4 plates for myself to finish up my ticket book, but it's a great cause.

Nancy and I are going to mom's tonight to keep my brother's daughter, so she can go out to dinner with her friends. She could really use a break!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
I hope you had a good night with Rosa. Nice of you to help out. Continued prayers for your SIL & Jim....and all of you!

Morning MMC. Happy St. Patrick's Day and Happy Birthday #2 to Rollins! Hope you are all doing well this weekend. A sunny morning here but brisk and cold. Feels like November out there kind of. Reminds me of the holiday season. Just going to get Rollins a few toys for his birthday and cake along with some other normal errands I have. I hope you all enjoy your start to the weekend!
I hope Rollins had a great birthday!!!

Happy Saturday! Not too much planned today..my daughter’s friend tore her ACL so we are going to bring her over a care package. Tonight we are going to my MIL’s for pizza for dinner for her birthday. Hope you all have a great day!
Hope your MIL had a good birthday!!

Well, I tried the Irish soda bread recipe ... I have to wait for it to cool a couple hours before I can cut into it. Doesn't look bad, though!

Looks good. How was it?
I ended up making a couple loaves of Emma's Amish bread.

Good Sunday morning! And what a cold one it is, with the thermometer reading -22°C/-7°F currently. And we have to go out grocery shopping too, how not fun. But right now the three of us are curled up under a blanket on the couch and will likely get back to it after all the shopping is done. Enjoy your day everyone!
Wow! That's cold. I hope you've warmed up some!!!

Hello and Happy Sunday!
It is been a little while since I have stopped in. Just a busy time at the moment. Well, Spring is nearly here, BUT, here in Ohio they are calling for SNOW on the first day of Spring! And yes, I an excited! It is a strange system and still a lot to be determined, but could be a couple of inches. It could also move a little southeast and be nothing at all. Some of the weather models have us getting 8 inches of snow, but that seems unlikely.

In non weather related news... I went to the school play on Friday, the kids were great. The play was about a zombie apocalypse at the school. Very funny. Then, on Saturday we went to the school musical in the town we will and my wife works. They did Footloose. It was good, but whoever was running the sound struggled with making sure the singers were louder than the band. But other than that it was good.

I have a lot of school work to do this weekend, and I keep finding other things to do instead. lol Grading 60+ papers on the New Deal just does not seem appealing at the moment. The in-laws are stopping by today for lunch so that will add an extra reason not to grade papers.

Well, I suppose I should get something done today. Have a great one everyone.
Bring on the snow!! :) If it's going to be cold, let it snow!! :)
