Good Morning, Weekend Eve Arrivers!
Yep. Cycled around again, we have. The final day of the work week is at hand.

And while the last day of our count certainly is not near to hand, we are creeping closer by the day. (Even closer to our next pair of Milestones!)

Days to the Season: 228
Days to Christmas Day: 270

The binary markers set to arrive during the latter part of next month are, in order, the One-Third point to Christmas Day and the 200-day Season Window.
These are markers number SIX and SEVEN on our Countdown chart, showing that we have advanced right along through the rolling year.
The dates to mark on your calendars are April 26 and 27. (UNDER 4 weeks now to the first one.)
Back to back Milestones!

We warmed up nicely yesterday, approaching 80 degrees by the afternoon.
Today will see us drop into the low to mid 70's, then into the mid 60's tomorrow.
Still excellent for late March!
Our current reading is 65 degrees here, and it looks like rain.

This Easter there is a Double Blue Moon night!

On average there is one blue moon every 2 ½ years. We celebrated a blue moon in 2012, 2015, and earlier this year.

There was no full moon in February but we have another Blue Moon coming up this weekend. Now if you thought the last occurrence was special, how about this? — Saturday’s full moon is a double blue moon: two blue moons in the same year! It truly is rare, a situation that only takes place about four times a century. It last occurred in 1999 and after this weekend it won’t happen again until 2037.

Make sure you explain this to people when you tell them that there is a double blue moon or you may hear them saying "I only see one moon and it isn't even blue".. ha ha

Good Morning dear friends. Today is Good Friday, and I do wish you all, a happy Good Friday to you!

It does feel strange, in a way, to utter the words "Happy Good Friday", for one would wonder then, how can today be so happy? Well, its because of what occurred on this day, along time ago.
To truly read, understand and absorb, the ultimate sacrifice, that happened a long time ago, leaves one with awe. It makes me personally reflect, that my life is truly blessed

Good Morning. It's a cloudy, dreary looking day out today around these parts, but the geese are really loving it. There's a field directly across from us and the geese is having a grand ole time, munching away on the grass. They are coming in low, right over the house, honking away as they are landing in the field; its a pretty sight.
Today is a holiday for us, and we are going to go to church today, then run some errands and then I think I'm going to try and cook a pork loin for dinner tonight.

Ok, I confess, I'm not a cook, nor can I, but I am trying to learn and do it. So, if anyone has a great way, that I can cook a Pork Loin in the oven (meaning what to put on it, how long to cook it per lb., and what pan do I cook it in, do I cover it with foil, etc...) I will take any help that I can get. I kinda want to show off for my Mrs.....lol!

Jacob's band was interviewed on the radio this morning, so Nancy and I were sitting in the car at home with our phones held up to the speakers, recording LOL. It was a great interview!
