Merry Thursday!

Got everything done at the store early so I am home enjoying the warm day. I had to open a window in the house and get some fresh air!! The wind is roaring through the trees ~ I'm glad it isn't snowing out!

Stocked up on cat food as there is a winter storm watch out for my area for Saturday morning into Sunday. At the moment it is looking like there could be ice involved. Hopefully, the forecast will change for the better.

I hope the forecast isn't as bad as predicted. We're supposed to have rain, rain, rain Saturday & Sunday! Then 36 for a high Monday. I keep hoping they raise that 36 but it's not happening so far!!!

Thank you both! I’ll definitely be giving her a collection of my recipes. I’m also going to send out recipe cards along with her bridal shower invitations. I thought it would be special to recieve recipes from family & friends as well!

We do this for my nieces too. It's a great idea!! How exciting!

Happy Friday the 13th! It's warming up here until Saturday night when the temp crashes from 75 Saturday to 45 on Sunday. Ouch. But at least we have 2 nice warm days for once in a row with even partial sunshine. And I am off Monday so a 3 day weekend. Sunday going to my Uncle's. Saturday a hike with my friend and a rainy Monday? Probably just go to the mall to look around and relax. What's your plans this weekend? Have a great Friday the 13th!

Merry Friday MMC ~
It’s going to be partly cloudy today and warmer, highs near 64 degrees. I need to do some food shopping this morning. I’m also going to take a ride to the jeweler with my middle one. She’s picking up a gift for her BF, he’s graduating from the police academy next week. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. Dinner will be marinated flank steak with roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Days to Christmas Day: 256

Our pending pair of Milestone markers are coming at us fast.
First up, the 1/3 point to Christmas Day, due to arrive on April 26, just 13 days from now.
Then, the 200-Day Season Window, coming upon us exactly two weeks from today.
(Double the fun!)

Yes, as promised, the weather turned warm yesterday and Mother Nature once again turned on the pollen spigots, also as promised by the weather service.
We could hit 80 by this afternoon, with no rain predicted until at least Sunday.
Currently, we stand at 57 degrees here in the capital county.

Happy Friday the 13th!! Not too much planned here for the weekend. We are leaving on Monday for FL so I just need to get some last minute things at CVS. I just need to help my youngest daughter get her stuff together. I hope you all have a great Friday and weekend!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

Today's my last day in the office until April 23, and I'm trying to make sure I'm caught up. The closer my Denver trip gets, the more anxious I become. I hate being away from my family for five days, but when the boss recommends you for the trip, you can't really refuse. Plus, I'd like to see the Rockies.

When I get back on the 23rd, that will be the new boss's first day. We're supposed to finally clean out Russell's office this afternoon, and take all of his personal effects to his wife. We should have done it by now, but no one had the nerve to start packing up his things.

I hope the new guy is a good manager. I've had a few bad ones in my time here.

Finally, a spring-like day here! But over the weekend it's supposed to get cloudy and wet, and the temps are to fall again. Rain, sometimes heavy, is predicted for Marathon Monday. Rats.

Enjoy the nice weather today!! We sat out on our patio last night. It was so nice. I don't want it to get cold again!

I hope all of the sleet & ice miss you. Never need that! A little snow - well, it's time for that to be done too, but if it's going to be cold...let it snow! We have a chance of some wet snow on Monday but it doesn't sound like much. Rain & Thunderstorms starting late tonight & going all weekend.

I just put in my PTO for Christmas! I was looking at our team calendar and saw a couple people already have theirs requested so thought I better get mine on the books just in case. It gave me a twinge of excitement!
