Rocky did pretty good today. He walked a little bit better on his leash and he did okay with the basic commands. Definitely better than last week. Hopefully he’ll continue to improve! Two classes down, four to go.

Well today was finally a nice day outside. Actually, Friday was good too. Friday evening we sat out back and had a fire and roasted some marshmallows. Today, Henry and I went to the pond in our neighborhood and fished for a while. Not a whole lot of action, we caught 4 little ones; but it was just nice to get outside and spend some time together.

Today started at 5:45 a.m. I was outside washing and waxing Doc's care, then I cleaned the inside and shampooed the carpets. Followed that up with cleaning mine, cleaning out the garage, playing with the girls, and then going to watch the kids at the prom. It has been a long, long day...and I'm about to lay down and watch some basketball. There is 6 minutes left in the first half and I just hope I make it until halftime.

Good Morning! Sunshine Part 2 here with beautiful weather this spring late April Weekend. And Crown is out for today so I'll try to fill in for him. We have 2 major milestones both this coming week ahead and both back to back. Talk about exciting. The figures:

Days to the Season: 205
Days to Christmas Day: 247

Thursday we will reach the 1/3 marker to Christmas Day! Friday? We will reach the 200 day season window! And think about what that means for next weekend...a "1"s count will be happening in our season count. How can that be? It's getting late early this year!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy your Sunday with sunshine and relaxation if possible. And then Crown will return Monday with those 2 major milestones ahead of us the coming week. Have a Super Sunday!

It was sunshine, 75F, and beautiful yesterday....today is rainy and 45 F.

We went through the same pattern about 10 years ago and it was a really cool summer with only like 7 or 8 days in the 90's during June, July, and August. I wonder if that could be our path this summer...

Happy Sunday MMC! We came back from vacation yesterday and the weather in FL was great.sunny and in the low 80s and no humidity. Unfortunately I woke up yesterday with a cold and hope it does not turn into a sinus infection. I am just catching up on laundry and I need to go to the grocery store later. Hope you all have a great day!

Morning MMC. Happy Last Week of April! It's a busy one ahead for me. Lots to do at work and after work in the evenings. We had such a nice weekend for a change. The weather was so great. And today should be another. Hope you all enjoy your Monday!

Merry Monday!
It’s going to be a nice day, sunny with highs near 58 degrees. Well my oldest and her fiancé officially moved in to their apartment over the weekend. Sigh. It’s strange not having her here this morning, I would be starting breakfast for her right about now. This will take some getting used to. Thankfully she’s close by! Anyway, just a typical day of errands and chores for me. I’ve been craving homemade chicken soup so that is what’s for dinner. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!

Back from the coast after a successful visit to the cottage. There is work to be done before the rental season begins but it's in pretty good shape after the long winter. We will go back a couple more times before our first renters arrive in June.

And you are right. "It's getting late early this year".
(And each year, it seems to get later earlier and earlier!)

Well, onward with today's data:

And just like that, we find ourselves scarcely HALF A WEEK away from dual Milestone marker, the first being the One Third Christmas day point and second, the 200-Day Season Window.
(So much pending fun before this week is out!)

The weather was a bit coolish at the coast Saturday and Sunday, but there was not too much wind and no precipitation. Got some preliminary things done and compiled a list of what else needs to be accomplished before the rental season.
Rain is predicted here in Raleigh today and tomorrow and we have commenced the new week at 54 degrees.

Good morning MMC!! What a beautiful day!! Even if it's Monday!!

Sun is shining, we're supposed to hit mid 60's today!

My hubby got the day off work & I am only working a few hours this morning, until I need to go stay with Mom. We are minus Amish help this week, so it's going to be a little hectic!

Hope you all had a good weekend. I was with mom most the weekend but Saturday night during my time off we went out for pizza & a few drinks, spent the night at the lake. Last night our neighbor came over. Poof, weekend gone!

Yesterday morning while Mom was eating breakfast I hit play on her cd player (by mistake - I thought I was turning on the radio) Guess what?? It was CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!

So of course we had to listen!
