Christmas Countdown - 2018

Oh boy, the first couple that just came thru here were definitely on the extreme side of things. Tattoos, buttons in ears the size of quarters, nose rings, and the girl was supporting a big ole shiner (black eye) on her left eye. Ripped up jeans, beanies, yup... very different, that’s for sure!

Well, i’m Sitting here, waiting, I just made myself a cup of Earl Grey, with the rain outside, it’s feeling a little damp in here too!

The Landlord told us that there was alot of intrest for the place and that there should be quite a bit of activity today. So far, only one couple has looked at it. So much for a lot of activity.

I just found some information on-line about 2018 Christmas in July.

It says, starting Sunday July 1st,
QVC will have their Christmas in July Kickoff.

Also, Turner Classic Movies will air the following movies:
Christmas in Connecticut on 7/4
Holiday Inn on 7/5
Meet me in St. Louis on 7/17

Hallmark channel will start “Christmas keepsake” starting 7/6 - 7/15

Hallmark movies and mysteries will start “Gold Crown Christmas” 6/29 - 7/8.

That’s a great idea Minta, I’ve been wanting to make a pit stop there to see if they have any good reduced prices on their stuff.

Our store has everything 30 to 50% off except for Legos they are only 15% off.

Well other nature did not want to be nice today so no yard work and didn't get to plant the blueberry bushes ... hopefully next weekend then.We did use the time to spring clean our bedroom and purge out some old clothes. Making home made pizza tonight and maybe watch a movie or 2.

Hot, hot, hot. (But fortunately not humid, humid, humid. At least not yet. It's coming, though.)
We reached 92 degrees yesterday and will reach the mid 90's today and tomorrow before somewhat cooler temps return for Tuesday.
Our current reading, to start the second half of our weekend, is 76 degrees.

Chilly, cloudy, and damp again. The furnace ran this morning. C'mon, it's the middle of May! Sounds like it'll be warmer, but still cloudy into the workweek. Just can't get a good stretch of weather to last more than a day or two.
