If I had a fireplace at this very moment, it would have a crackling fire in it because it is just nasty bone chilling cold in here. The rain has been non-stop since early this morning and now the wind has kicked up now and it has created such a cold damp apartment here, my feet feel like icicles. The Mrs., just got up and turned the heat back on for the first time in weeks.

This weather makes me feel like going into the bedroom and taking a nap!

I’ll trade you my 80 degrees with 90% humidity for your chilly temps!!

It’s chilly and wet here, too. Back to wearing cozy sweats ... a week before Memorial Day! I had hot cocoa with breakfast this morning.
yes, chilly day here too, so glad we could not go camping ! shouls be much better on the Canada day weekend .

Good Friday morning! It will be a sunny day but temperatures are struggling to go back up. I have the day off but will go into work to bring cake and say goodbye to one of our long-time coordinators transferring to another store next week. I also have to go shopping for shoes, my old ones are not doing my feet any good right now. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day!

Good luck with the shoe shopping!

Happy Friday, everyone!

It's a cool, partly cloudy one here, and we're expecting a chilly, wet Saturday. But it's just as well, because I'll be spending at least part of it setting up a new computer and migrating the files from the old one (8 years old---ancient in computer terms). Then the "joy" of poking around to find out which software is now obsolete with the current OS and will need to be updated or replaced. I'm NOT a computer geek, but I have marginally more computer chops than Mr., so I get the job. It's nerve-wracking for me, but I'll get it done.

I'm sure you'll do a great job!

Good Afternoon MMC !!!

I'm back at last !
I have missed you all so much !

Once again I have a computer and can be here

Welcome back, CS!!!

We actually had to turn the heater on this morning to take the chill out of the downstairs of the house. Temps are slowly rising outside but still raining

Merry Saturday!

It is pouring out ~ my gardens are going to love it!

Yesterday I finished planting the pepper plants and moved a bunch of catnip (for making tea) to an area under one of the apple trees and another area alongside a fence. This morning when I took a walk, I saw that the transplanted catnip looked happy. Yay! Tomorrow if it isn't too wet out, I have apple mint to move.

Be merry!

Good morning and Happy Saturday!
It’s going to be another rainy day with a high of 60 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and I’m watching the royal wedding. I’ll be heading out later this morning for Rocky’s obedience class. I don’t have too much else planned for today. I’ll just be working on the laundry and a couple of other chores around the house. I’m taking a break from cooking tonight, we’re going to order pizza for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Good morning, I was up early and I am watching the Royal Wedding and having coffee. It should start raining here anytime. Not too much planned besides my daughter having a friend over. Hope you all have a great day!
What did you both think of the royal wedding? I am just now watching it on dvr as I worked all day. I think it’s a lovely ceremony and I loved Meghan’s dress, very simple and elegant. The veil with the Queen’s tiara was spectacular. I’m a sucker for these types of ceremonies.

As I recall from my childhood, catnip is happy ‘most anywhere! We had a couple patches in our backyard. Our kitty loved fresh catnip leaves.

Today stared out fairly humid. I got in a nice track workout before the rain came at about 12:30. The weather isn't the best still, but I am super happy to be enjoying a long weekend!

I hope everyone else is enjoying themselves.

It is chilly out there...I turned on Thebes heat this morning too! The house was cold!

I really liked it and I loved all the modern touches they added to it! I agree her dress was gorgeous and that tiara was stunning.

I know right, from one extreme to the other. Here we tonight, all bundled up, we got the heat up to 68, got one of your afghans covering up my legs and feet and Jill has a heating blanket on her, which, the kitties are just loving that right now.
Actually, a cup of hot chocolate does sound good right now.

I just read that the National Weather Service did officially upgrade the number of tornadoes that hit Connecticut to 4. Those storms were wicked. My wife's uncle still cannot get out of their neighborhood. He was in one of the towns where a tornado touched down in. He said that trees and power lines are still down everywhere around them. He said it looks like a bomb hit down the street from his house. Hundreds of cars damaged, homes, and trees down all over the place; it's a mess. We were not in any of those paths, but wow, it was pretty wild when the storms did hit here. Crazy huh?

It's raining here as well. Great growing weather. Apple mint sounds brilliant.

Loved the wedding. There was a massive tea party near us with the wedding on a big screen. Bishop Curry stole the show though.

Sounds awful, hopefully no one hurt.
