Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good Morning, Folks!

It's Weekend Eve again, where we stand on the threshold of another end-of-the-week oasis and look forward to a bit of R&R.

And we are also getting close to the threshold of yet another Milestone!
(The check-up on that will follow the presentation of today's numbers.)

Days to the Season: 151
Days to Christmas Day: 193

And is 11 days from the HALF WAY point to Christmas close enough to be considered a threshold?
No?
Well, surely we are on the threshold of SINGLE DIGITS to that marker, since the day after tomorrow will see us only 9 days away!
(Put that in your stump of a pipe and smoke it.)

Warmer and more humid yesterday, as our brief cool spell is but a memory.
Today should see a high in the upper 80's with a negligible chance of rain.
We currently stand at 73 degrees here in the capital city.

Merry Friday!! It is cloudy day here but I think it is going to warm up. We should have a quiet night tonight and may grill out. Tomorrow our friends are opening their pool so they want to have a cook out tomorrow night so we will go over there. No other real plans on Sunday, which is fine with me. I am looking forward to relaxing. Hope you all have a great day and weekend!
 
TGIF, Christmas friends!

We were out late last night with Elizabeth as she went to play practice and we went shopping. Nancy dropped me off at the new Harbor Freight store (its a store that sells inexpensive tools), then we both went to Lowe's and to Walmart. I got home at 10:30, which is about 30 minutes past this old man's bed time. *yawn*

Nancy and I actually planning to go see The Incredibles 2 tonight with our niece and her two boys. I think Nancy is the most excited LOL.

Lunch with Mama today.

Good morning! I’m headed out shortly to have coffee with my sister, mom, hubby, and the kids, then have a mandatory education I have to attend at work for an hour. We’re taking the kids to a local lake here later on, to go swimming and fishing.

mandatory education sounds like fun! When I was in the Army we had mandatory fun.

Thanks to all of you for the thoughts & prayers for my FIL! He is back home. They are thinking he had a TIA, but all of his tests came back fine...so I guess that means they really don't know!! Last night he was feeling better, but he said he's still a little dizzy/wobbly. He's not able to drive right now, which is hard for him! Just makes him want to go somewhere, even more! ;) Hopefully this all turns out well! xx

Not much up today besides work. Seems like it could be a long day!! Wednesdays are always slower, for whatever reason! Might have to find something Christmassy to watch/listen too on Netflix or Youtube! :)
