Hello all!

I have not been on in a few days, just been busy. Trying to get Nathan ready for the Army, he leaves next week.
Summer is about to feel like it is over here as Little League football starts next week. Actually tomorrow, but that is only equipment handout. Practice begins next Monday.

Still working on my thesis. My advisor returned my last chapter to me and said it was good to go other than a couple of small typos I need to correct. That whole project will be over in a little more than a month. While I am enjoying all of the writing and research, it will be nice to have it all finished.

The weather is supposed to be fairly decent for the next several days, they are calling for lower 80s which is a nice change from the lower 90s.
Best Wishes for Nathan! Our friends son left yesterday for the Marines! Thanks to them for their service, but that has to be hard for you all!! *Prayers*
Have a good day ITP!

I have been enjoying Christmas in July so far. I watched the 1984 Christmas Carol last night. I am looking forward to re-listening to the tracking Santa on Kringle Radio too.

I was just thinking about this the other day... here we are with Christmas in July, enjoying Christmas music and movies. Then we get to August and I largely go back to "regular" music and such. Then, right after Labor Day I move into Halloween mode. I have a pretty good selection of Halloween songs and will start to watch Halloween movies. That lasts for September and October and then.... it is Christmas time. November 1 is the true start for the Christmas season for me. When you look at everything, it is just around the corner!
Time just fly's!!! It's crazy how fast it will be here!

It is... I could not believe how these were behaving and I am talking abut kisd as young as 7 to teens. Cutting on line, pushing and my god the language out of their mouths. Of course I had a few words with a couple teens. Guess they were not used to be called out for their behavior.
Can't imagine my wrath if I would have acted like I've seen some kids act today! My Dad was a "no nonsense" guy! He would help anyone, but he put you in your place pretty quick if you stepped too far out of line!

Have a great night MMC! It's starting to look like rain...let it rain!! I can easily do Hallmark Christmas movies & rain tonight!!! :D

Thanks snowflake! Happy Monday to you!
Mom & I did have some fun yesterday. Was nice to get her out of that house!! I probably had more fun than she did ~ she said she didn't know any of his music! HA!!
Hope your day is going well!!!
That is great, lady~
HA!! :P
Thanks, it's going better now that I just opened a Diet Dew!

Have a great day, HMG!! Hopefully the vision test goes well!! I forgot my glasses when I did mine back in May and just barely passed. Whoops.

Good Morning and Happy Monday, HmG!!
Hope that your errands, chores, and vision test go well.
Keep cool, and have a beautiful day!
xx

Hope your vision screening went well! Have a great Monday! Hugs to little Rocky!!

Thank you ~
My eyes aren’t what they used to be but I passed the test!
I hope everyone is having a nice day so far <3

Keeping Nathan in my thoughts!

And you as well, as you complete your thesis.

Enjoy the cooler weather!
We will be having the same drop in temps, thank God!

:)

It is wonderful to have these traditions, our own way of counting down to the best times of the year.

We had 50's for a low last week. It was crazy how much you could sweat during the day & then need a jacket at night! CRAZY! Enjoy the cool down!!

I hope Jazzie & Har (and you) all have a good night tonight!
Nice!! Perfect for bonfires at the lake!

I think the lowest that we have gotten down to lately is mid-upper 60's.

Thank you, my fingers are crossed. I can barely keep my eyes open this afternoon.

Stopped into Michaels today. They have all the fall decor out. The Christmas stuff can't be far! I love all the candle fragrances they have for the fall: pumpkin spice, salted caramel, etc. Bonus! All their summer jar candles were only $2.50 each.

You're off to a good start!
Is there a particular one that you're excited about diving into?

All of them LOL

We are replacing the kitchen sink/faucet fixtures, laying new floor in the kids bathroom (using peal and stick tiles) ripping the carpet off the steps and redoing the wood steps, purging (will be making a donation of unwanted but still usable items to charity). I redid the pictures and wall hangings in the living room this morning. The final 2 projects will be done later this summer/fall which is repainting the master bedroom/bath room and repainting the front door and frame.

Good for you guys! You’ll stay out of trouble for a bit ;)
How long have you been in your new home, now? I remember you talking about the moving process and leaving your former home. Time sure flies.
I’m bet your projects are all coming together & your home is looking extra cozy!

Good Morning, MMC~

Merry Tuesday!!

We are currently at 60°, and it feels wonderful!!! A high of 80° for today.
It was nice to walk the girls last night with such low humidity.
Here’s a pic I snapped of them over the weekend.

Just a normal day here~ work and taking care of the girls this evening.
Adrian is on a guys trip in Washington D.C. to the All Star game with his Dad and nephew. They are having fun.

I spoke with my parents last night, they are having a wonderful time in Alaska. They did a wildlife ride/tour yesterday, and said that it was pretty amazing. Today, they are white water rafting!
Their 50th Anniversary is Friday ♥️

We are down to @ 46 Days Until The ‘Bers!! It’s so great to see Autumn in the stores again. I picked up a jack-o-lantern scarecrow!

Wishing you all a Christmassy day ahead!!
