Good morning MMC! A late check in from me! I was with mom this morning until the Amish came & I can't deny I had to go home & take a little siesta before coming to work. I didn't sleep great at her house last night! I couldn't keep my peepers open!! Then I got a call from Mandy (Amish) that mom was still sleeping at 10:30 this morning!! She didn't want to wake up! So I went over & helped to get her out of bed. She was really sleeping good ~ felt bad waking her! But Hospice was coming around 11 so we wanted her to eat something, etc. She's been a piece of work!Dementia is real!!
We had a family party on my hubby's side yesterday. They made homemade elephant ears & ribbon fries! Everybody brought a dish. It was so nice out - at Jims Aunts campground/woods. It wasn't a great turnout but it was nice chatting with the peeps that were there.
Not much up for today besides work. The weather is beautiful. I've got the windows open! Hallmark on tv! It's all good for a Monday!!

Woke up late today because of the heat. It's very humid but there's a chance for a little rain today. Hopefully. Have to start sorting things out for this weekend. We off to go camping. I've found the sleeping bags, foam liner, and chairs. Now, just to find the tent. While it would be fun to sleep under the stars, I don't particularly want to be eaten alive by bugs.
I ended up watching the cartoon Albert. The story about the little Douglas Fir tree that has dreams of being the Empire city Christmas tree. Cute story and a little predictable at times, but overall a great message for Christmas. Check it out and watch it with the youngsters.

Good morning, MMC! Happy Rudolph Day and Merry Christmas in July!
I was off work last night and will be tonight too. I’m currently watching QVC. I hope I can find some deals today! I’m meeting a friend at 8 for breakfast, then we have to run to work and take our yearly CPR class. I’ll come home, get some things done, then the kids and I are meeting one of our best friends and their daughter for a movie and dinner this evening.

So many fun things about today!!
Merry CIJ, Rudolph Day, and Pines Day!!
It’s a must to have Christmas music on all day!!
I plan to watch a Christmas movie tonight, still picking one out that I haven’t seen for some time. And Hallmark will be kept on all day as usual, need to take advantage of the last few days of Christmas movies. QVC live will be on my laptop, as well
Some work today, making taco dip for the party tonight, and hopefully will be able to get a walk in with Adi and the girls-if weather allows. Looking forward to another cool down after these storms.
Harlowe & Jazzie are hanging in, seem to be improving a little. But still not feeling that great~ hopefully they both rest up today and are feeling much better by tonight. Jazzie actually only ate a little of her chicken & rice-proof she’s having a rough go at things. Normally, that would’ve been inhaled

Happy Rudolph Day #7! Happy Pines Day. Friday here for me as I'm getting this 4 day break that I've been waiting for the last month. Definitely hope this helps me rebound. The humidity continues to be crazy and the showers popping up and then the sun comes out. Very tropical weather and will continue today. Have a great day!
