I'm so happy to read that Lucy is doing well after her surgery. I can't tell from the adorable picture if she is simply sleeping or feeling down about the onesie. Loki had so many issues with the cone of shame at first, he looked so sad and miserable. Glad you had such a nice weekend at the lake and hope you'll enjoy a nice week ahead.

Thanks Martine!! I think she's still mad at us for making her go through all this! But she's not wearing a cone or a onesie anymore & she's not bothering the incision. I think she's doing pretty well. She seems a little depressed, but she's eating & drinking - she just rests a lot, which I guess is a good thing! xx Last night in the middle of the storm I looked over at her & she was sleeping with all 4 legs in the air again, so that's a good sign, she was comfy!

Good Morning ... Anther hot day here. Starting to see more signs of fall in the stores .... displays of Halloween candy, fall themed kitchen towels. Won't be long before we start seeing Christmas related items popping up in local stores especially as we get closer and closer to that wonderful time of the year.

Morning MMC! Still hot here too. But we trudge through the dog days of August. Rollins doesn't like this weather either. He's gotten into swimming though this summer so I take him to the lake and he jumps in. Surprising cause Boston Terriers don't normally like the water. Hope you all enjoy your Tuesday!

Good morning!
Another hazy, hot & humid day. I’m heading out in a little bit to do some food shopping. Back home afterward to work on some chores around the house. My mom is stopping by later this afternoon to visit, I think I’ll bake some muffins for us to have with a cup of tea. Dinner will be easy peasy, it’s Taco Tuesday

Good Tuesday morning! I am so done with this humidity. The heat I don’t mind but when you add 8-10 degrees to it with the humidity, it takes a toll. I have the day off and it’s a good thing because I wouldn’t be able to put on shoes today as my feet are raw and full of blisters from wearing new shoes without socks yesterday. Yeah...not the smartest decision I ever made...So it’ll be laundry and a few chores and catching up on the dvr. Have a great day everyone!

Morning all. Hard a couple little rain storms yesterday to water the garden. It seems more and more that the rain is being held in the clouds until the last minute and then let go in a downpour instead of gently being released over a longer period. Things are changing, weather wise.

Went to the farmer's market on the weekend and picked up some great produce. They had huge zucchini on 3 for $1. So, guess what we've been eating for the past couple of days. I made two loaves of zucchini cheese bread, a large pan of zucchini lasagna, half a dozen zucchini fritters, and still have a half a one left. That will be sautéed with mushrooms later.

Plus stone fruits are now in season. Picked up some lovely peaches. Yum.

As for most of you, we're still having hot, humid weather---both a Heat Advisory and an Air Quality Alert are in effect all day. Ugh. I've been playing Christmas music during my work commutes to try to cool down.

Jacob's wisdom teeth came out yesterday morning. He's in some pain, but he's doing good. I also had to take Elizabeth to traffic court for the accident she was in last month. She had to plead guilty, I had to pay the fine, and there will be no marks on her license.

Yesterday was an expensive day for me. Whew.

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!! Not much going on today besides work & laundry. We had some storms roll through overnight. It feels nice outside this morning w/ a high of 80º predicted for today! At the moment we have sunshine but they are calling for a chance of more storms this afternoon.

My Lula Bell is doing good after her surgery. She's not 100% herself but every day seems better. Wish I could be home with her all day while she goes through this! ♥ She's enjoying the extra treats! LOL! She received a care package from her boyfriend Jackson w/ a really cute card yesterday. She's already chewed up the rope/baseball toy! (It's under her head in the pic) Just a little spoiled!!

Good Morning, friends~

Merry Tuesday!!

It'll be another hot and humid day here- we may have some rain blow in later this morning, lasting into the early evening. That's okay, we really need it.

I'm just listening to some Christmas music, and getting some work done this morning.
The real estate market is hopping here!
Our neighbors across the cul de sac put their home on the market, and sold it within one day. They had multiple offers, and are selling it significantly higher than their asking price. Good for them! They are relocating for work. We are going to miss them, though. Great folks.

My Mom, Dad, and Jazzie are having a wonderful time at the cabin.
I really wished we could've been able to join them last weekend, but there was too much going on here. Next time!
They sent me these photo the other day.



It would be so nice to be relaxing by the lake, and enjoying a good book right about now!
