Good evening,

I had a bad day dealing with my anxiety, I went to bed last night in almost a panic attack and a raised heart rate. I am better now but that is my life now after last year's breakdown.
Lights are still going strong, and the snow forecast has seemed to disappear. Looks like no pictures of lights and snow this year. I did watch Home Alone, and A Christmas Story 2 today. Keeping Christmas going strong here.
Good night, everyone

You’ll be in my thoughts Xmas, praying tomorrow is a better day.
xx

Goodmorning everyone!

One of my intentions for the new year was to visit the forums and post on here more often. So far I haven’t been able to visit much since I’ve been pretty busy.. good start huh? ;)
Today is my day off and I’m just enjoying a cup of coffee. Got some laundry and other stuff to do and later today I will visit my grandmother. Other than that I plan to relax and catch up on here. I wish you all a great day!

My brother started having anxiety attacks a few years ago and I've also seen many employees struggle with this condition, so I know how hard it can be for you xmas365. Sending you strength and calmness of mind.

Morning MMC! A chilly day out but after all it is January right? But it's normal for this time of year. Nothing brutally cold (yet). And it looks like the snow for the weekend will stay south of us. Haven't had much since that November storm we got. Slept 8 hours and woke up thinking I could sleep more lol. Have a great day!

Good Thursday morning! I'm working the afternoon/evening shift today. I'm just relaxing right now with Loki by my side, before I do a few chores and prepare supper to bring to work. I just can't wait for the weekend to arrive, I need a couple of days off. At work people are still talking about a weird/funny thing that happened on Monday. After inventory, one of our employees mentionned over the radios we use to communicate that there was a Christmas tree in the men's restroom. We thought he meant one of the trees we were selling and that someone had put it there while they were using the restroom. But he became really agitated so we went to look and turns out it was a real pine tree that someone had stuck inside a toilet bowl. Pine needles were all over the place. Loss prevention was there so they looked at the cameras and saw 2 young guys coming in laughing, carrying the tree, probably on a dare. I've seen a lot of weird things in restrooms over my 20 years in retail but never a pine tree. Anyway have a great day everyone!

Enjoy your day off and the visit with your grandmother!

Sugar I can’t thank you enough for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. I truly appreciate it.
You will remain in my prayers as well. I’m sending love, light, and healing energy your way.
And I will keep all of you in my thoughts tomorrow. There isn’t a day that goes by that I do not think of Molly and Maggie at some point. It doesn’t matter how much time goes by. May memories bring you peace and comfort {{{ hugs}}}

And my old dog Ragmop still visits me in dreams sometimes. Now and then I feel here jump onto the bed and I can hear her dog tags jingling. She was nearly 18 years old when we lost her. Best companion I ever had. I had three dogs, 8 cats over the years and lived with two at my cousins that weren't mine, but Harrison visited my room quite a bit; Ginger was a timid soul spent her first few weeks retreating to the safety of a bedroom closet (like Ginger Rogers, she only wanted to be left alone). Next to King O'Malley, Shamus was my favourite cat; he and Ragmop looked out for each other when they were outside and they both slept on my bed quite a bit. Pets are for sure instant family members and the loss of them is heavy.

Good night, everyone

I have only experienced two panic attacks in my life; the first one I had no idea what was happening. I was sneaking into the physiotherapy clinic that was operating out of the fitness centre just to check my blood pressure. My heart rate was scaring me because I didn't have problems and wasn't sure what was going on, but my body wasn't feeling right. They were too busy and I went upstairs to talk to a friend and asked her if she could check my heart rate because I my body was racing too fast for me to get a pulse. She called down to Charles at the physiotherapy clinic and he told her to call an ambulance. She called my husband and he beat the ambulance to the hospital. I wound up on a heart monitor for a week.

Results didn't show anything alarming so they said it must have been a panic attack. The other one was when I nearly lost my husband and that's completely understandable.

I don't usually have problems with anxiety, but I'll tell you the extra speed of conversations with people a few months after my mom had passed and then we lost two young co-workers and an older cousin sure sent me into a Speedy Gonzales dialogue.

I hope you can overcome this and recognize your amazing qualities as a person so you can feel good about yourself.

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's a lot cooler this morning, and, of course, windy. But at least it's not raining!

I'm feeling a little stretched-out with all my personal goings-on. I'm trying to get our roof replaced from damage from the hurricane last year, trying to get our septic system fixed, trying to get Jacob's car repaired from his fender-bender, trying to get some damage repaired at mom's place in the mountains, and trying to get this pinched nerve in my arm fixed before my hand weakness become permanent. Whew! I'm just full of complaints today, aren't I? Sorry.

Now for my praises: My family is happy and healthy, Nancy's mom is feeling better, my mom is doing great, and work is going well! Thank you, Father!

I hope y'all have a great Pines Day! :D
Hope your arm is better soon!
Good evening MMC !

still sick here, does not seem to want to let go.
Daughter had a fender bender this morning. Roads really bad, all school buses cancelled and country schools closed. She was not charged because of the roads.

going to need a bit of work.
I wonder if Carl has some concoction to cure what ails me ?

hope you all have a great evening.
Hope you feel better....my cold from last week is still lingering here and there..
So glad your daughter is ok!

So many people have a pinched nerve issue going on right now...what is up with that?? I hope you are feeling better soon. Takes awhile. I started with sciatica yesterday. I'm 99.9% sure it's b/c of my new job. I was sitting in a chair with a calculator for a really long time on Monday. I about went through the roof yesterday - many times. I could hardly stand it. I walked a lot last night & put an ice pack on it every hour for 15-20 minutes last night & today at work. The pain is definitely still there (gets dulled thanks to ibupro) but it was much better today than yesterday. Darn old age. LOL!!! ;)
Have a good day Brad!
Oh no!! Ugh...hope your back is better. Sciatica is terrible!

Yeah, I was hoping for a Santa but one I found just wasn’t my style.

And the other was just like one I already had.

But the wee bit of the exposed Santa next to the mauve one looks like your kind of Santa.

They are definitely family members and their lives are much too short. I have four cats right now, they entertain me and make me laugh all day long. And my puppy Rocky certainly keeps me on my toes. Life would be very different without them.

Happy Friday Eve!!
Exciting news in our house...my oldest daughter passed her driver's permit test! My husband took her in the afternoon, I said I need to wait until she gets a little more practice until I take her out on the road..lol
Just work for me today and tonight my daughter has an extra credit project at school and then she is going to a basketball game.
I am looking forward to the weekend. My cousin and her husband are coming on Saturday and I think on Sunday I am going to start taking down my decorations.
Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning all! Still snowing slightly here and very cold. DH made pancakes for the kids for breakfast. My FIL wants to take DH and I at for breakfast, so I guess we're headed there now. We have our niece today too, so other than that, we don't have anything else planned.

I hope you all have a great day!
