Hello FRIDAY! Get my car back day! YABBA!
I've been awake since 3:30 a.m. I was attempting to go back to sleep, but the numbness in my left hand - mainly the pinky and ring fingers was driving me crazy and I couldn't get comfortable. Still not working right; not sure what's going on there, I wasn't sleeping on my hand. The night before, I woke up with the prickly and tingly sleeping hand thing, but it didn't bother me at all the rest of the day.
I couldn't pick up my coffee cup so I switched hands. I'm left-handed, but I do more heavy things with my right so I should function okay. Guess I'll appreciate that wee pinky a bit more once I realize how useful it is. My uncle lost two fingers at the first and second knuckle in a work related mishap. He used to be repair planes at the airport. I can be relieved that it's nothing serious.
There's no pain, it's just like rubber; weird. The B-12 should fix it up if it's any kind of vitamin deficiency.
We had quite a bit of snow overnight. The wind gusts are strong as well and I spotted two broken thin branches of the tree I can see from the kitchen window. There is a sugar-snow frosting on top of the cedar trees and shrubs. Even the naked tree looks a bit more festive with the now on the branches. No footprints in the untouched snow on the ground. No snow plows out yet which is odd, but I doubt there's more than two inches. There is a plow clearing a new spa business on the corner.
Snow should subside later in the day and we're expecting good weather over the weekend; although it could be cold.
The local Santa Claus parade is this Sunday.

P.s. Now the plow is clearing the road I need to navigate to get to work.

had a friend look at this computer, his first words were "ya, this is really old, you should get a new one" but he did some tweaking and it seems to be a bit better now, at least it is staying on!
Cold here and lots of snow, was hoping for it to warm a tad more so we could get the outdoor stuff up. It is a bit warmer at only -3c (27f) this morning. going up to 0c (32f) today. I have everything ready to put out.
Gingerbread house baking and decorating is in full swing here. The theme for this year is Movies, so I am doing a house based on Christmas with the Cranks.
I have to go to work, but not till 11:30 today. I am only able to do 4-hour shifts which I discovered I really like! I picked up another job driving Miss Daisy to another community once a week to visit her mom in a nursing home. Busy filling Christmas baking orders for a few people who order from me every year. Also, have a baby shower cake to do for next Saturday.
Gotta run discovered I forgot to throw my uniform in the wash yesterday so it is laundry time nice and early today.

I’m fighting off a migraine this morning. I have a chiropractor appointment later so maybe that will help. I’m going to run a couple of errands afterward. I will probably take it easy later this afternoon, I just plan on working on the laundry. I’ll give myself a break from cooking dinner as well, think I’ll order pizza. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!!!

Good Morning, Season Sailers!
And we are indeed sailing right along through the early stages of Christmas Season 2019, headed toward Thanksgiving, our next holiday.
Days to Thanksgiving: 13 (Now UNDER two weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 40 (Almost down into the 30's!)
But before that, we have this: Our FINAL Milestone of the year, the 90 percent, Home Stretch point to Christmas Day.
And it will be here in a scant THREE days. That's UNDER half a week!
We are very slowly getting our warmth back but are also getting precipitation. At least our lows are supposed to remain above freezing for the foreseeable future.
Today begins after an overnight rain, at 42 degrees here in the capital city.

The first weekend of the Christmas seasons? Plans, anyone?
This afternoon, we will have a fire in the fire pit and a big ol' hamburger on the grill. Most of this weekend will be spent preparing our little family for a trip to Disney. I'm so excited for my kids that I can hardly stand it.

Yes! Usually, I get 3 or 4 days off on my weekend off, depending how I schedule myself or how others schedule themselves, but with how short we are right now, I've been doing a good bit of overtime and with the holidays and other stuff going on too, I've been doing some switching. I'm looking forward to this weekend as well, since we're doing Thanksgiving at my house!
