Good evening, friends! It snow probably 2 inches or so this evening, enough to make it look pretty outside and enough to make the roads covered. Dinner was delicious! I am sitting with a bowl of popcorn and a glass of wine - with my meds, that is pretty much my limit now. ABC has several shows that I like to watch on Thursday nights, so I am currently sitting watching those. Otherwise, that is my evening!

Once these shows are over, I think it will be 11, so I guess I'll have to see how tired I am and then decide if I want to watch something else, read, or head to bed.

Hope you're all having a great evening!

You'll have to post a picture if you do now with the snow. I don't think I got one single on this year.
As of right now, they are saying 8 - 12 inches of snow on Sunday. The chances look good.

Good Morning, my Friends!
Welcome to Milestone number one of the 2019 Countdown!!
(With many more to come; some sooner than you might think!)

Days to the Season: 300
Days to Christmas Day: 342

And there you have it.
The 300-day Season Window.
And tomorrow we begin Season count numbers starting with a "2".
Wow!

It just keeps getting warmer by degrees.
Today will see us in the low 50's, but then upper 50's are predicted for tomorrow and Saturday.
After that....well....I don't want to think about it, because by Sunday night, we will be well below freezing!
Right now, we show 36 degrees here on our back door thermometer.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks!
Happy 300!

Good evening,
Pushed through work today, boosting my orders with the predicted snow coming. It will be busy.
Came home to get my snowblower ready, tried everything, it won't start. Looks like I'll be shoveling, it's not too bad with a short flat driveway, it's the end of the driveway heavy, salty, slushy mess that the plows leave behind.
Just finished watching the Bruins win, takes away a little of the sting of the snowblower.
Have a good night, everyone

Re: De Christmas of the mall. A friend of mines husband is in mall management. They meet in janurary to review what worked fiord the season and then in February begin a monthly meeting to start planning for the launch off the next Holiday season. They start surveying customers in July asking them what they'd like to see for the holiday season. He goes out in September to a warehouse and inventories the decorations to see what they need to replace.

Morning MMC! TGIF for real! Sometimes at work it's just like overwhelming and you realize you are only 1 person trying to do 20 things at once. Well based on the weather forecast the next 3 days here and the fact I am off Monday it looks like this weekend could be called hibernation weekend! But I do have errands to do and I am not the type to stay home and do nothing all day. However, this weekend the tree will finally come down. But I will smile as I take it down as I think about how amazing it will be to put it up in 300 days again. Make it a great Friday!!!

Merry Friday!
Not too much going on here this morning, I’m just having my coffee and I’m working on a menu plan and grocery list. We got a dusting of snow over night, it looks very pretty out there. We have some heavier stuff moving in Saturday night in to Sunday but they’re saying it could end up being more of a rain event. We’ll see. I’ll have a couple of quick errands to run today and then I will be working on my daily chores. Dinner will be beef stew over egg noodles. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!
xx

Good Morning, Post-Milestoners.
Or should I have said "Good Morning, Pre-Milestoners"?
Around here, we are always post- and pre-. When we pass one marker, the next one is always right around the corner.
And so it is with marker number two for 2019.

But we will get to that in just a moment.
First, there is this to consider:
Days to the Season: 299
Days to Christmas Day: 341

And consider also, that our Season count is now under the 300 mark and into the 200's. (Doesn't it already seem closer than you thought possible at this point?)
Well, hold on to your harnesses, Guys. Just wait until you learn about our next marker.
In less than one month (just 25 days from today, to be precise) we will be ONE QUARTER OF THE WAY TO CHRISTMAS SEASON 2019!
Not possible you say? Check out the chart!

Well, it stayed chilly yesterday, despite warming predictions.
Now, today and tomorrow are promised to be nice and I'll hold the weather service to it because on Sunday the bottom is supposed to fall out and we will be getting the coldest weather of the season to date.
Currently, our temerature indicator tells me it's 46 degrees, here.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And a Wildly Wondrous Weekend Eve, to boot!

Happy Friday..TGIF!! Just enjoying my coffee with my peppermint creamer..always reminds me of the holidays! Looks like we may be getting 4-8 inches of snow. I am hoping we don't get too much ice, we will have a quiet weekend which is fine with me. Hope everyone has a good day!

Happy Friday all!

I'm glad its a 3 day weekend, seemed like a long week for some reason, not bad ... just long. Anyway, we're expecting about 2 feet of snow here this weekend, so that should be interesting! I hope you all have an epic finish to the week!

This morning Mike and I will be going to his cousins coast guard graduation in Cape May. It's only an hour long so we will have lunch down there also and my cousin will watch Carolina

Congrats to Mike's cousin - that is a great accomplishment! Safe travels!

Good morning everyone! Gearing up for the snow here. It's currently snowing lightly here. I don't think we're to get much of anything today, but this weekend is when we're to get hit. The amounts still keep changing. When I went to bed last night, they were saying close to two feet, now it's back down to around a foot, but with ice on top of it, which I would rather have 2 feet of snow, but we're not really planning on going on anywhere, except church.

Not planned for today, except unfortunately we do need to go to the store. Before, we wouldn't have care, but since we are now cooking out home more, we really need to go. I wish we would have went a few days ago, but our schedule just didn't plan for it and it's going to be a mad house now. We need a lot of stuff, including the usual grab your milk, eggs, bread, etc.

It's so pretty out. I just love how it looks when it snows! Hope you all have a great day and stay safe and warm!
