Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I didn't expect university registration to take two days, be we have to go back today. Now I have to ask the boss off for another day without notice. I really don't like doing that, but I don't have a choice.

Elizabeth wants to study two majors and a minor. I don't want her to stretch herself so thin, but she's resolved to make it work. We'll see, I guess. I don't know where she gets that stubbornness from.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good morning MMC ~
It’s going to be sunny today with highs near 70, we’re currently at 52 degrees. I’m definitely going for a couple of walks with Rocky to enjoy the weather. I also have to pick up a few things at the supermarket and then I’ll be working on some chores around the house. My mother is coming over to visit later this afternoon. Dinner will be tacos. I guess that’s it. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
xx

Good Morning, Christmas Keepers!

“And it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us!"

Well I like to think that, as reformed Scrooge did, we keep Christmas very well indeed, here.
And to assist us in that regard, we have our daily count and our Milestone markers to help keep us focused.

Days to the Season: 162
Days to Christmas Day: 204

And now the 200-Day Christmas Day Window has moved to within FOUR days of our position. Barely over HALF A WEEK away.
(My goodness!)

Real pleasant, "outside weather" continued yesterday, with sunny skies and no rain. (Actually, we could use some about now as things are starting to look rather dry.)
Today will see us reach the low to mid 80's, again with a near zero percent chance of precipitation.
This second day of the work week has begun here in central NC at 62 degrees.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Folks!

You’re so right about that! Working today, but I’m off for the next two after that. Not a bad deal.

YAY!!! Can't wait! I am nicely stocked up on coffee and hot cocoa mix to enjoy while watching these :)

Good afternoon .. another perfect weather day here today. Breezy with temps in the low 70s. It got really chilly last night and with the fan on in the bedroom window I had to put another blanket on the bed. I am still in a Christmas Mood. Think I may have to make some hot cocoa tonight and work in my Christmas Planner/Notebook. Hope everyone has a great day!

My youngest granddaughter was beyond herself with emotion that she wasn't tall enough to go on the Sky Screamer at Marine Land in Niagara Falls with her dad, mom and a few others - my husband and I and our youngest grandson were content not to go. Hannah said, "But I'm brave enough and that's what matters." Poor dear, but that's not how they base their decisions, although in that case, I'm sure it had to do with the body harness on the ride.

When I lived in Toronto, I lived with 5 guys, one was my brother. One day, I thought I was alone and didn't lock the bathroom door, one of the roommates came in and instead of embarrassing both of us simply said, "Oh, I just need my comb and I'll be out in a jiffy." He grabbed his comb off the ledge under the mirror and out he went.
Geesh! I was still slightly embarrassed, but he managed to keep it cool as if he just walked in on one of the guys.

We were childhood friends and neighbours so I guess it was kind of like having a brother woopsie-daisy his way in.

You know I remembered to lock the door after that even when I thought I was alone.
We have one bathroom. Locking the door, with eight people in the house, isn't happening.

Good Merry Morning -lights-

First day back at work yesterday and it went well, didn't know I had a four hour meeting, I had it marked down for today in my calendar. Good thing I was available. Kind of put a dent in my "to do" list, but I'll get it done today.

Out of town for a day trip tomorrow and Friday, but today and Thursday I can check in with O'Malley cat on my lunch break.

I gave him a pair of Gary's jeans to sleep with to help him relax and it was adorable and sad at the same time to see him in the beginning with just his head resting on the jeans and now he is sleeping lengthwise so he can cover them with his body.

He misses his big daddy cat. No word from Public Health, I'm done chasing them.

The weather network says it's raining all day here, well perhaps it's coming later because I see an orange sun and blue sky with white clouds; there isn't even an overcast. Sometimes the weather is different up at the airport - higher altitude from where I dwell, but there's no way it's raining up there right now. Maybe they need to clean their windows. HaHa

Spotted another mailbox yesterday and someone mysteriously returned the Scotch tape that disappeared from my office.

Keep a merry thought in your head! +b

Have a safe trip!

Hello all!
Not much going on here today. My wife and son are visiting with her parents and they are doing some baking. I did a little yard work, still more to do.

We started a new workout routine this morning. We really need to lose some weight and get into better shape. This is a good time of year to get started. We get some easy walking exercise on Mondays and Wednesdays because Henry has track and we can use the track too.

Other than that, I am just relaxing a bit and taking care of some administrative stuff for Little League Football.

Rain is back in the forecast tomorrow. :(

Well, everyone have a great day!

She's all enrolled now...a college girl!

It had rained when we got home, and it was 73°! Twenty degrees cooler than it was when we left the university. I love it!
